Nezu stood beside the windows, looking down at the dormitories below. Paws clasped behind his back, he couldn't help but go over the cause and effects, of losing the Symbol of Peace, and the inquiries of the potential traitor in their midst. The sun made is fur shine as he looked down at the gathering students, in front of their respective dorms, and with their homeroom teachers. We are already feeling the effects of losing the Symbol, and I am left to be wary of everyone... especially Smith. The stoat shuddered at the thought.

His own protege turning against him?

He's considered it many times, so many times he's lost count. He has no worries that Aizawa would be the traitor, Aizawa is the only one he considers in the clear at the moment, not just because of his attitude, but because he placed himself in harm's way for his students, so it wouldn't make sense for him to be the mole. Of course he's had the man give himself updates on Smith's activities, and even any personality changes if there were any.

The principal couldn't help but scoff at what he stated at the staff meeting when Smith was kidnapped, and the students were attacked. It was foolish of me to state such a bold claim. I know nothing about how Smith feels on the inside, I could only assume frustration as that is a common attribute I can apply to myself. Nezu sighed and looked at Class 1-A's dorms. He wanted to make out the shade of blonde hair, but from the height he was at, all he could do was see a blur of colors.

Smith on the outside was very plain, simple, and characteristically stoic. Yes, the girl does crack a few smiles, small huffs of laughter, and the occasional jokes here and there, but Nezu can't predict what she is going to do next. Usually everybody has a certain tell when they are being dishonest, or are uncomfortable, even himself has one. However, for Smith it appears she has learned early on to master compartmentalization, and it is a scary- no terrifyingly horrid thought to come to the conclusion on. This type of behavior is found in the most common villains, the ability to push past emotions and keep them in a blank space.

Nezu can only assume her tell is compartmentalizing, but for what reason is the question that he dares to ask. Smith soaks up information like a sponge, however she does little interaction unless he engages it. Smith would make an amazing government official, or even something that takes high strain on the psyche. Nezu couldn't give an explanation to her existence, and it is a daily struggle trying to keep HPSC off his tail. He could just bring in Tsukauchi to do a lie detector test, but if they are wrong, the actual traitor may pick up on the activity, and go into hiding.

Despite his lingering apprehension, Nezu liked to think that Smith was in the clear. It was also quite amusing to see the slight differences in Aizawa the more the tired man stuck around with her. Nezu may not be a human, but he does know the main basis of human nature, and he's pretty sure it won't be long before Aizawa finally makes the choice to adopt her, making Smith his actual kid. I'm almost certain most of the staff already have bets on the matter. But, it is up to Smith to show some signs of connection as well, and by far it is miniscule
