Life is good, actually life is more than good, it is extraordinary.
For the last couple of days that I was in California for, I spent my time either with Charlie, or celebrating with the team.
Charlie made up for the time we were apart, even if it was just was a of days, and the team was partying like there was no tomorrow.
River stayed for the last couple of days and started to get to know the team. She was shocked to find out that I had fallen for a guy and didn't bother to tell her. She even gave Charlie the whole 'hurt her and I'll hurt you' chat. The team got on with her andshe got on with the team. Dean flirted with her and much to my surprise she flirted back...unbelievable.
Well, I can't say anything, for the past couple of days I been making out with Charlie every private moment we got.
But after the days past we came to the moment we were dreading.
I along with the rest of the team headed to the airport, while the rest of the team would be flying back to Minnesota, I would be taking a separate plane with River back to Australia.
There were a few tears, mainly from my part, and a lot of sad hugs. We all promised to see each other soon.
I then hopped on the plane and began to head home.
I dreaded this day. I knew it was coming but still couldn't prepare myself for it.
Who would have thought that in a couple of weeks so much would happen?
I fell in love. Made lifelong friends...no actually family. And won the bloody goodwill games.
But all good things have to come to an end right?
