I can't sleep.
There's plenty reasons. Now that I'm with Noelle, there's one more. Or a lot more.
I don't want to start sleep walking or something, don't want to somehow end up very close to her, don't want her to see me sleep, don't want her to do things I'm unaware of as I sleep, Newt isn't here, I always start overthinking at night (or I basically just always overthink), there's no light and there's no one who's worth feeling trapped for, my chest hurts for no reason, I don't know how things ended with Lelia and Minho, I don't know if she's alright, I don't know what happened to them in the first place, I don't like this wooden chair because it hurts to sit on for such a long time, it's cold in here, I have no idea if Noelle is actually asleep—
Many, many reasons. A lot of thoughts. Plenty concerns.

"Lyndon?"
I somewhat fall off the damn chair when she suddenly whispers my name. But instead, I keep still. I don't feel like talking, and it's too dark for her to see I'm awake, unless her eyes are used to the dark or she has been paying attention to me for a while.
"I know you're awake."
Awesome!
I groan. "What is it? I was almost asleep."
I wasn't.
"Sorry. Do you think they have any water here? My throat is like the Sahara."
"No, don't think so," I whisper. "Just go back to sleep. That way, it'll be morning quicker and you'll get to drink."
I sense her climbing under the sheets again, satisfied she didn't act as... excessive as usually.
"Isn't that chair super uncomfortable?"
"I'll be fine."
"You don't want to switch?"
"No, Noelle."
"You want to stay on the chair?"
"As I said, I'll be fine."
"If you want the bed, just say it."
"No." The word nearly fades into a sigh.
"You've been awake the whole time. No way you're comfortable."
"If you know I've been awake the whole time, you were, too. The bed isn't comfortable either then, is it?"
I don't like knowing that she was watching me the whole time, even though I was just sitting and thinking.
