Lauren's Pov

"Do you have everything?!" My mom asked right as we were about to leave for the airport

"Yes mom, I checked three times"

"All your sweaters and jackets and stuff?"

"Yes they have their own suitcase"

"Okay sweetheart, let's go. I don't want you missing your flight"

If you're thinking that today was the day I left to New York, congratulations you are correct. Camila was supposed to be here and ride in the car with me to the airport but she had to go to Dinah's because of a best friend emergency. Instead, she will meet me over there with the rest of the squad.

The ride to the airport seemed to be going in slow motion, like the city wanted me to take one last good look of it. The cafe passed, where many things occurred involving me. Also the high school I experienced a lot of things in. I was going to miss this city a lot, even with its heat, humidity, and hot rain.

"I'm going to miss you so much honey" my mom said tearing up

"Mom you'll see me on Thanksgiving and again on Christmas" I chuckled

"Yes but I'll miss seeing you around the house with Camila" she hugged me

"Where is she by the way?" My dad asked

"Right here!" She exclaimed behind us before tackling me in a koala hug

"Hey Camz" I smiled while tightening my arms around her waist

"I'm going to miss you so much" she said on my neck

I kissed her forehead, "So am I princess, but I'll be home for the holidays. We discussed this before"

"I know but now it's actually happening and I'm not prepared to see you leave" she pouts

"You still have Dinah to entertain you babe"

She looks towards the taller girl, "She's not the same"

"Whatever Chancho, diss me like that I guess" Dj says

"Tell you what, when you go home, my parents will give you my car keys. My car is now yours"

She looks at me wide eyed, "What? No you can't do that. I know how much your car means to you"

"Yeah almost as much as you but I'm not going to need it now. New York is heavy with traffic, I'll just take the taxi everywhere or walk. Take care of it for me."

"But it's your black Audi R8 we're talking about" she says still denying

"And it's going to be something you'll remember me by"

"Just take the car already! We all know you want it" We hear Dinah yell

"Okay fine" Camila says finally giving in

I smile, "Thanks Camz"

My flight was called and I gave one last hug to my friends and family. Taylor shed some tears and I knew Chris wanted to too but he held it in. The squad made me promise to keep in touch and then Camila held on to me until the very last second. One tear fell from her left eye and I brushed it away with my thumb. I gave her a passionate kiss before I boarded my flight.
