Melanie's POV

Black.

That's all I could see.

All around me, from every angle, every direction. Darkness consumed me.

What was Holly doing? Why was she here? When will I wake up? Will I wake up?

All these questions were running through my head as I sat in the dark, alone, but for some reason, I was not afraid.

I closed my eyes and thought about the last place I was before going unconscious.

The cell.

I was limping out of the cell when Holly showed up and injected me with wolfs vane.

I opened my eyes only to see a small light at the end of what looked like a hallway.

Maybe this is the end.

Maybe these people saw no use in keeping me so they ended my life.

As I walked down the hallway, the light got larger and larger until I saw that it was a doorway.

This place is getting creepy, I might as well get this done and over with.

I slowly took what I thought would be my last steps in life.

I gasped for air once I walked through and the light disappeared.

The light was instead replaced by a cement floor?

Oh, I was chained up again.

The familiar scent of blood swarm throughout the room.

I turned my head, only to see the man I had killed, laying limp, in the exact spot I had killed him.

Tears builded up but not because of his death.

It was because of the burning in my chest.

"Ahh!" All I wanted to do was rip out my heart so the pain would stop.

A river of tears were easily flowing down my cheeks.

The burning wouldn't stop and my mouth was as dry as a desert.

There were no words to describe how much pain was spreading throughout my body.

The only things I could do was scream and cry.

Now I'm scared, alone, and practically rejected by my one true love, my mate.

I was just about to go to the moon goddess when a burst of light filled the room.

I was about to plea for them to kill me, but whoever it was shushed me.

"My names Bailey, I'll help you get out of here but you have to trust me."

I nodded my head.

"Ok first off we need to figure out how to get these chains off you."

I smiled at her and she raised her brow, "what."

"Watch this," I told her and concentrated on burning the chains.

Once they were melted I turned back to Bailey with a scared expression.

"Yo-you-your the cho-chosen o-one?" she stuttered.

"Uh ya sorta."

"Ok let's get you out if hear," she bowed down to me.
