Melanie's POV

After many kicks, punches, scratches, elbows, etc, my father was on the ground, barely breathing.

Me, I felt a little better, but I was still angered at him.

'He deserves to die!' Angel yelled.

'I know, but he needs to explain some things to me,' I tried calming her down.

'Fine,' she harrumphed.

When I came back to reality, arms were wrapping around my wrists and dragging me out of the room.

"Let me go!"

"Melanie, it's just me," Bailey shushed.

I calmed a bit, knowing it wasn't another guard wanting to kill me.

"Bailey, let me go," I commanded, holding back a growl.

Did I mention that alphas and Luna's have a very short temper.

She sighed and let go.

I didn't say anything as I walked back into the cell, kneeling down next to my evil father.

"Get up," I commanded.

He apparently didn't have enough strength to argue.

He slowly stood up, grunting and wincing in pain.

We both walked out of the cell, I stood behind him ready to fight at any second.

He was limping on his right foot.

I was angry that he wasn't injured more.

'Don't worry, we will get our revenge on him,' my wolf grinned in my mind.

Without answering, I followed behind Bailey and the stupid, idiotic man that I have called father for almost my whole life.

We all came to a stop standing before a door that led to an office.

There was a desk in the back of the room, across from the door, with a reading lamp and papers on top of it.

In the right side of the room, there were about 6 boxes of various sizes. Also, a small window was over there.

To the left of the room there was another desk and black filing drawers.

"Please sit," my father pointed towards the cheap camping chairs in front of his desk.

"I'd rather stand," I raised my brow.

He was mumbling user his breath, quiet enough so I wouldn't hear.

He glanced at Bailey sadly.

"Hurry u-" I was cut off by a skinny brunette running into the room and into Richard's arms.

"Who the hell are you?!" I screamed, angry to be in this room longer than I had to be.

"I could say the same thing to you, but anyway I'm Josie, Richards mate."

I stood, stunned for awhile before Bailey nudged me.

Upset and confused I yelled at the fake, "you are not his mate, she died when I was four years old! You a-," I was again cut off by the growling of my father.

"You will not speak to my mate like that, daughter or not, you will be sentenced to death immediately.

Josie smiled at me.

"You do not have the right to call me your daughter, you lost me when you became abusive and psychotic! You were and still are a crooked and evil, monster," I said with disgust towards the beast.
