"He tried using Zavi uncle against mama" Mihrimah said in between telling her aunty everything that happened in the court.
"What did he say?" Nuha asked making the girl jump in her place and place a pillow in her lap.
"He said that she's in a relationship with him and she's.... You know... Hanging out with him" Mihrimah said making her aunt raise an eyebrow at her resulting in the girl avoid eye contact.
"What if these two were really together?" Nuha wondered making Mihrimah stare at her want wide eyed.
"You mean...." She said making her aunt smirk.
"Don't you think your mom's been single for too long?" Nuha smirked making her niece return the gesture while nodding her head.
"Matchmaking" Mihrimah exclaimed in the dead silence of the night, the two were currently camping in the living room while their mother slept soundly in her room, ignoring the music that came from the TV.
"You don't have a problem with that?" Nuha asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"I think I'm past the stage where I'd have problems sharing my mom with someone, besides I'm her daughter, her partner not a reason for her to stop dreaming about her prince charming" Mihrimah said smiling thoughtfully.
"How are you so smart?" Nuha took her under her arm cuddling her close to her.
"I grew up with two smart ladies. Actually make that three we can't forget Humaira maa. But they taught me that we all have dreams to run after. And my mom's still young" Mihrimah said flipping her hair back making Nuha chuckle at her.
"I sure raised you right" Nuha laughed tackling her down in a cuddle attack.
"Mom's gonna be in a relationship" Mihrimah frowned suddenly a thought of her mom sharing her time invaded her senses.
"What if she gets married?" Mihrimah asked making Nuha frown.
"Wouldn't she one day?" Nuha asked in response.
"I mean what if the person she falls in love with doesn't want me to stay with her?" The girls questioning gaze made Nuha shake her head with a smile.
"The point is Mah. If she falls in love she'll fall in love with a whole separate person. You on the other hand are a part of her, one can't simply rip their own heart out and survive." Nuha said silently, her mind wondering if she herself was even a part of her mother.
"Just a reminder I'm still ten?" Mihrimah said making Nuha snap out of her haze "easy words please" Mihrimah added making her nod.
"I mean to say no matter with who and when she settles she won't get herself in a situation where she has to compromise on you." Nuha explained pulling the little girl in her arms.
