So a change is that Minha's mother's name is zubaida not zahida.

Cold breeze of the winter air swept past the luscious green grass playing tag with pollen floating in it. The sun stayed hidden behind he clouds not making his presence evident. Clouds were as grey as they could ever be.

People were scattered around in groups and individuals. The open cold atmosphere was a sight to be seen for deprived souls. Birds sang melodies of peace and tranquility. Everything was exactly as it has ever been but for the man who stood outside the hospital nothing appeared appealing. He couldn't believe he had spend a year without her.

Her. Who left. Her who he had betrayed just because of his stupidity. She stayed close felt as though she was oceans away. She was in his reach but she had made it clear that he would never be able to approach her even if he wanted to, and that's exactly what had happened, it's been almost a years and he hadn't been able to approach her. He knows that she's aware of his yearning but he had made her trust and pride paper thin and now she refused to acknowledge him. Even in Aahil's wedding she didn't pay any heed to him. She could feel his heated gaze on her throughout the functions but didn't let him know that it effected her. That's it made her feel like running back in his arms. She controlled herself.

months back .....

"She's awake." The sentence was enough to cut off his oxygen supply. Sweat beads formed on his forehead as he saw her family rushing inside to meet her. He was left behind to mourn over his mistake.

"How is she?" He asked hurriedly when he saw Zafar and Ziyaan coming out of the room. They didn't say anything just stared at him as if he's the most disgusting living thing on this planet Earth.

"Why do you care? Go back to the one you believe instead of her. She's nothing to you" Zafar spat lunching on him but he was held back by Ziyaan. Ziyaan shook his head and took his brother away.

His eyes followed every single person that came out of the room. The eldest didn't even bother looking at him while Asfar left disappointed. Azhar punched him hard making him stumble back but he knew he deserved more than just that.

"If she decides to leave you then consider yourself dead" he said pointing a threatening finger towards him.

"She's asking for you" Ashar hissed standing at the door. His breathing picked up, heart beat fastened. His hands trembled as he stared at the door.

"I hope she throws your ass away. I for once thought you would've been at least a little mature than what you've showed" Ashar muttered and walked away to his office probably.

His feet felt heavy as he strutted towards the room. He took a deep breath making his chest tighten painfully. His hand landed on the door knob as he hesitantly turned it. The door silenty opened. Aahil was the first one to come in view standing beside her bed looking as murderous as he always did. Next was the foot of the bed. The room became wider as he pushed the door open, his eyes travelled the length of the bed falling on her sitting form. A bandage tied on her forehead, her face pale and eye.

Eyes stared out the window lifelessly.

The red of her shirt was the only hue of pink that reflected on her face. Her hands clasped together in her lap with her back leaning against the wall made of pillows.

"Bhai please leave us alone" she said looking outside. Her voice silent and stiff. Eyes as dry as a desert.

"Afee-" Aahil was cutoff in the middle by her lifting her hand to gesture him out of the room. He gave a warning look to Shahzar and left nodding her way.
