When Leoni awoke she got instant deja vu. her head was laying on someone's lap and her legs were sprawled out on the floor
"Leok?" Luna asked excitedly and Leoni instantly sat up. Her eyes cleared and suddenly there she was. The fearless Luna, her wild hair flowing around her shoulders, her dark welcoming eyes and her beautiful full lipped smile
"Luna!" Leoni giggled before pulling the girl into a hug "how are you?" she asked pulling away and holding Luna's face taking her in, all of her
"i'm good i'm really good" Luna smiled lovingly and Leoni instantly thought of Lexa "and you?"
"look at you all grown up! you're so beautiful!" Leoni pretended not to hear the question
"why are you here Leok" Luna phrased her question differently
"it's really better for someone you don't know to explain because i don't want you to not like me" Leoni smiled cheekily
"ok fine" Luna sighed "i was sorry to hear about Lexa..." Luna trailed off
"not as sorry as i was" Leoni laughed awkwardly
"oh Leok" Luna sympathised. she brushed the hair from out of her face "you're safe with me" Luna cooed bringing Leoni's into another hug. The blonde nestled into her friend's shoulder, took in her scent and warmth
"yeah..." Leoni pulled away and stood up shakily. Luna instantly sprung to her feet to help her up
"i noticed the injury" Luna raised a brow inviting Leoni to further explain
"remember that dick who took a shot at Kidra? mount weather detail" Leoni started as she pulled herself up with Luna's help
"Emerson?" Luna asked pulling Leoni's arm around her shoulder to help support the young warrior
