"i don't care what you do get him out of my damn head" Leoni demanded as his laughs started to echo around her making her sweat and begin to hyperventilate "where's Bellamy?" Leoni asked frantically while Gaia flipped through Becca's book. Even in the face of all the hurt he'd caused her she still wanted him
"i don't know, we don't have time to worry about him" Gaia finds her page "Raven gave me Becca's book it has everything i need to know" the flamekeepa assured
"do you know what you're doing?" Leoni asked while Gaia pushed her back to lean on the backboard of the bed
"no but the ritual is simple, you just need to focus harder than ever before" Gaia told her strongly "you won't be alone in there Heda. there's a mind space in the flame where you can summon whoever you like of the former commanders to help you face Sheidheda" Gaia told her with a knowing smile
"you mean Lexa?" Leoni asked brightly "she hasn't shown me any memories since my first days adjusting, i assumed she wasn't there anymore for whatever reason" Leoni shook her head in disbelief
"how can she show you memories when you're in every single one?" Gaia raised her eyebrows and held the girls hand "now if something goes wrong you just hold onto a happy memory, it will be like your shield, do you have a happy memory Heda?" Gaia asked and Leoni nodded
"walking through the woods with Lexa." Leoni smiled fondly
"perfect." Gaia smiled. "now close your eyes and repeats after me." Gaia held her hand in support before reciting the sacred words "the flame is my guide and i am the flame"

Leoni kept repeating the phrase until she woke up in a dark, candlelit room. she was sat in the commander's throne wearing the commander's outfit she'd abandoned years ago. she sat head of a wooden table across from none other than Sheidheda. Leoni looked around for her sister and mother but they were nowhere to be seen "where are the other commanders?" Leoni asked suspiciously
"you talk of the women you love? such a weak girl" Sheidheda scoffed in disapproval "they're not here Leok" Sheidheda teleported to the seat nearest to her "not here to protect you" he smirked. Leoni took in his face quickly. one eye was healed over, missing. his skin was icy and his face expressionless. "your flamekeepa knows not a thing" he sneered with his elbows on the table. Leoni shifted in her throne showing this man he had no power over her "but then again neither did mine. you see i believe flamekeepa's hold us commanders back. they fear our power and envy our blood. they wish to control us because they aren't us. my flamekeepa tried to control me...and that's why he's not alive to tell the tale" Sheidheda growled "you just kill your precious Gaia before she stamps out your unique fire completely" he ordered
