She had washed her waist-length hair 3rd day in a row and had spent more time in shower than her usual days. It was her little secret though, that these days, every time the water jets hit her untouched velvety soft skin, and the tiny droplets traveled over the swell of her sweet breasts to kiss her pinkish tips, she felt thousands of butterflies emerging in her stomach. Her eyes would shut on its own, only to imagine someone's face, his lips touching her that intimately making her feel so many emotions at once...she loved those scandalous feelings! The first time this happened a few months ago, the thought had scared her out of her wits, but now, she liked indulging in this sinful desire more than anything.

Standing in front of the mirror attached to the door of the almirah she shared with her 2 older sisters, Khushi was wiping her hair when her eldest sister, her Sheetal di walked in.

"Woah! Someone's looking pretty today! Kya baat hai bacchu (what is it kiddo)? Aaj saree pehni (you wore a saree today)?" Sheetal asked her lovingly. Being almost 8 years older than Khushi, she doted on her.

Khushi smiled at her di sheepishly and turned around, "Di. suno na (listen), can I borrow your jhumkis (earrings) today? Please???" she asked in pleading tone and sheetal chuckled at her baby sister's antics.

"Of course, you can bacchu. But at least tell me who is this saaj-shringaar(getting ready) for? At least I should know who has captured by sister's heart? hmm? Who has caused this transition from ripped jeans to salwar suits and sarees?"

Khushi blushed a pretty shade of pink but didn't say a word.

"She won't tell anything, Di. I have been asking her for weeks now, but she won't say." said her middle-elder sister Payal.

"Jiji! Not you too." Khushi said with a faint blush and Payal chuckled.

After Khushi left the room when their amma called them for breakfast, Sheetal asked Payal, "Pallu, do you know anything about this?"

"I am not sure di, but maybe that NK guy. The one who studies in her class and often gives her bike rides home?"

"Oh! You mean that wannabe cool kid? Nandkishor Tripathi isn't it?" Sheetal asked and payal nodded.

Least they knew, their 19-years-old sister was in love with someone who was hardly a kid!

Khushi sat beside her brother and youngest of the 4 siblings, Kuldeep aka deepu. He was 14 years-old and always had banters with Khushi and found ways to get her in trouble.

"Amma, see Khushi wore a saree today, use pakka aapse kuch chahiye(she definitely wants something from you)." He said, smirking at Khushi and waiting for her to react. But when she didn't say anything to him, not only he but all the others found it surprising.

"Deepu, how many times we all told you to call her didi or jiji, she is older than you." their dadi reprimanded him and he scrunched his nose.

"Bohot pyari lag rahi ho bitiya, ekdum shaadi ke liye taiyar! (you look very beautiful today bitiya, perfectly ready for marriage)." dadi complimented Khushi making her blush, but Khushi's amma corrected her,

"Not yet Maaji, first her 2 elder sisters need to be married off, then will be her turn. And going by how difficult they are being, I don't know when her turn will come." she said, giving disapproving look to sheetal and payal who just joined on breakfast table.
