Soon the selection round was over and Wang Linxue had to go back inside with Quan Fumin to witness who would be chosen by the company. Immediately scolded the moment she went in, she sat down was a small pout on her face while Quan Fumin's assistant had an amused smirk at her predicament.

A wave of annoyance washed over Wang Linxue as she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him. Her gaze then flitted to the stage where Renji Liang some judges and staff deliberated, their expressions stern and contemplative, Wang Linxue's anticipation grew.

In the midst of the tension, Wang Linxue couldn't help but steal glances at Quan Fumin, who stood in front as well. His composed demeanor whiles he quietly stood aside his mind afar.
Probably feeling her stare his gaze landed on hers and for a brief moment, she could have sworn she saw his lips raise at her.

She smiled back at him enthusiastically waving but he only looked ashamed and averted his gaze fidgeting slightly.

Cute.

"Tch!" She heard from beside her and she sighed not ready for another fight .

" Why are you always sitting beside me, huh? Can't you ,I don't know, stay away from me?"

" I have to keep my eye on little vixens like you so you stay away from my Young Master. So no, until you stop talking to him,I won't stay away."

" Are you saying I'm pretty so your Young Master can't resist me?" She teased rolling her a lock of her hair on her finger.

" Think whatever you like. But if you hurt him, I will make your life miserable." He promised.

Wang Linxue couldn't help but feel sort of relieved by this. At least someone cared for him this much. She placed her hand on his shoulder in gratitude but apparently he took it the wrong way. What did she expect anyway?

" G-Get away f-from me!" He stuttered leaning away in embarrassment.

Saying no more, she turned back to the stage,where it seemed the judges where done with their deliberation. Renji Liang went to sit with Leo Wu who said a few things to him to which he nodded. They told the contestants to line up and pay attention.

It seemed, they didn't want drag the process for long and just tear the band aid off so they quickly stated they were announcing those who would have the privilege of joining SR company as trainees covering acting, singing or both.

To dash the dreams of about 40 talents here , they stated that only 5 would be selected, creating a wave of shock and panic that washed over the small crowd on the stage.

" Before I begin with the names I want to congratulate you all on coming so far and SR company wishes you the very best in your endeavours whether you are picked or not." Renji Liang stated factually.

" Firstly the first person chosen, is Mina Wu."

It was expected. She was the niece of Leo Wu and nobody uttered a word or had a look of disdain. The girl was very talented and probably got the acting gene from her family.
It was just that she was friends with Ling Zhirou so she stayed away from her most of the time. So that was that.

Leo Wu looked proud and even gave her a thumbs up while Renji Liang announced the rest of the selected trainees.

" Secondly, we have Quan Fumin." Renji Liang looked proud . He considered him as a younger brother for some reason but who was she to pry. Quan Fumin bowed in thanks.

" Thirdly we have Dong Xifan." Another guy who was on the tall side looking suprised he was picked but bowing very low in gratitude.

" Next we have Min Su." He was the oldest of the recruits here reaching the age of about 24 so he had experience. He was definitely in the singing category.
