Ling Wei felt her scalp was feeling numb thanks to the certain devil's stare so she decided to go back to her room and wait for Nini's arrival.
She did not wait long, and before an hour, they had finally arrived.
She excitedly left their house squealing when she heard that Fu Si and Ping Mu were with Lu Nini.

"I will carry him"
"y-you can?"

She bit her lips and tried hard not to look at them but, her eyes kept on side-glancing and her heart skipped a beat every time she looked at them!
Long Yi Sheng noticed those side glances and his lips arched imperceptibly.

While the two unknowingly stayed in their own world, the others kept looking back at them feeling speechless.
Ling Wei's best friends know why she is reacting like that.

While having dinner, Ling Bin explained that the last country they conquered was near their village so he suggested staying there for a night.
Because they would leave early tomorrow, all the soldiers settled down, there were a lot of them so the villagers let the others stay at their house.
Because Fu Si and Ping Mu are alone so they stay in Ling Wei and let other soldiers sleep in their houses.
Before going to sleep, Ling Wei received an uninvited guest.
"w-what are you doing?"
She asked the evil-looking man.
Long Yi Sheng chuckled at her guarded appearance, she was just done bathing, she looked fresh, just like a fully bloomed flower with morning dew.
His throat felt dry, and his eyes darkened, just like a bee, he badly wanted to taste this flower, but it was not the time yet.
Ling Wei felt the surging danger he emitting so she takes a step back.
Long Yi Sheng noticed her little movement so he chuckled again
"do you think if I do something bad you can run away?"
Ling Wei pursed her lips
"you won't so no need to worry"
"little girl, are you sure?"
He asked dangerously and walked towards her, Ling Wei remained standing while staring at him with unblinking eyes until he stopped a few inches away from her.
"w-what do you want?"
"now feeling afraid?"
He asked laughing lowly at her stutter, Ling Wei blushed, she wanted to take a step back but if she did she would surely fall on her bed.
Long Yi Sheng can smell her fragrant body, his eyes darken more and if you look closely you will see the surging tide of dangerous emotion.
He forcefully calmed himself and said
"we will leave tomorrow morning, I don't know if I can bid you farewell tomorrow so I came here"
Ling Wei blushed at his hoarse voice, she looks down hiding her blush, and whisper
"I already know it, why do you still have to personally say goodbye?"
"Are you not going to send something for father emperor and empress dowager? Are you being unfilial now?"
He said while playing with a wisp of her hair, Ling Wei looked at him with dissatisfaction
"what do you mean? I am always sending gifts to the empress dowager and sometimes to the emperor together with letters, and why do I have to be filial to them? I am not their relative"
"do you want to?"
He asked with his most seductive voice that made Ling Wei's mind go blank
"w-what?"
"little girl, do you want to be my family's relative?"
"adopted sister?"
Ling Wei asked innocently cracking Long Yi Sheng's serious face
"no, try again"
"then sister-in-law?"
She inquired innocently making him laugh darkly
"I will blast into a million pieces whoever tries to marry you except me"
Ling Wei's eyes widen in surprised
"w-who wants to marry you?!"
Long Yi Sheng smiled at her bashful appearance, he touched her cheek using the back of his hand which made her shiver
"Weiwei"
He called out affectionately making her blush more
"except me, no one can marry you, admit it, little darling, you never get interested in anyone except me, and there is no one can rival my looks"
Ling Wei was angry at his first sentence but blushed again.
"Who told you? Are you being too arrogant?"
"I am because that is the truth, Weiwei marry me okay?"
He then said with his low voice
"I hate polygamy! Call me jealous or whatever but that is me! I will never gonna share my husband with anyone, just thinking about it disgusts me"
