Next day
Ratna was arranging breakfast table. Arnav came and sat beside Arvind.
Ratna: Where is Lavanya?
Arnav: She is sleeping.
Ratna: Still?
Arnav: No mom. She woke up before I wake up. She got fresh and again slept.
Ratna: Is she alright?
Arnav was stuck. He doesn't know what her problem.
Arnav: I hope so.
Ratna: Didn't you ask her anything?
Arnav: She was sleeping deeply when I came out of the washroom.
Ratna: Didn't you ask her anything?
Arnav: I called her two times mom, she didn't respond to me.
Ratna: Ok... let me check...
She rushed towards their room to check Lavanya. She saw Lavanya sleeping. Ratna touched her forehead in the checking manner. Her body was normal in temperature. She softly called.
Ratna: Lavanya... Lavanya....
La opened her eyes.
Ratna: What's wrong beta? Are you alright?
La sat on the bed.
LA: Jee aunty. I feel a little tired.
Ratna thought, maybe, she would not have slept peacefully. Or maybe, she would have slept late. Arnav also looked a little tired. She smiled inwardly.
Ratna: Come and have something beta. Then you can take rest.
La: No aunty. I'm not feeling to have anything.
Ratna: Ok... sleep for a while. I will bring you milk.
Saying she came out. Lavanya went to the washroom to wash her face. She had the milk which Ratna gave her. After that she didn't come out of the room.
In the evening
Ratna opened the door hearing calling bell sound. Her face brightened seeing Khushi standing with her trademark smile.
Khushi: Hello aunty...
Ratna: Hiiiii. Come in.
Khushi: Where is your bahu and lard governor?
She bit her tongue, getting what she blurts out.
Ratna (with fake anger): Oiyeee, do you name my son as Lard governor?
Khushi (making face): I just...
Ratna (laughing): Good name. He deserves it. (pause) Doesn't he?
They laughed together.
Khushi: You are such a sweetheart aunty. I wish you have one more son.
Ratna (confusingly): why?
Khushi: Then, I will marry him... Then, I will also get such a sportive mother in law like LA got.
Ratna (chuckled): It's too late...
They shared high-five.
Khushi (laughingly): where is La?
Ratna: she is in her room. Thank god you came Khushi. She looks gloomy from the morning.
