The teams return to the hotel. The students are instructed to freshen up and join the professors at the restaurant in the hotel. The college has booked buffet dinner for the whole period of their stay at the Hotel Hilton. Ruhana and her friends freshen up and change into their comfortable nightwear. They then join the other people at the restaurant and have fun while relishing their dinner.

An hour later, after finishing with their dinner, Ruhana moves into the garden of the hotel. Some of the guests of the hotel are walking in the garden while some are sitting and enjoying the mild cool breeze. Ruhana is alone as her friends move to their room feeling tired while she wants to enjoy the slight cool breeze. Moreover, she also hoped to get a chance to talk to Vineet. Though, they have been together for the whole day, she still wants to see him. After all, it's their daily ritual. Even at home, the two spend some time together before moving to their separate rooms. They may study, aftermath or just sleep, it's their outlook. So, she didn't want to break the ritual, though, they can't spend a long time, but at least they can see each other for a minute or more and say good night to each other.

Ruhana is sitting on the swing that's instilled in one corner of the garden area. Vineet and Rohan also come there strolling around. Rohan is surprised to find Ruhana there. Though, it's just 11 PM and he knows that this girl stays awake, but maybe, he thought that she'd be in her room having fun with her friends. He turns to Vineet hoping for an answer.

"What happened to her? Why is she here?" he asks as he didn't know that since they came here, Ruhana strolls in the garden after the dinner.

"How would I know, dude? We are here together. If I'd known, I'd be here with her." Vineet says, shrugging his shoulders, though he knows that she's here actually waiting for him.

Rohan nods positively. He moves towards Ruhana who's sitting on the swing and humming her favorite tune. She often asks Vineet to play it on his guitar. Vineet gives a push to the swing and Ruhana's trance breaks. She looks up and her lips curveil into a smile as she finds Vineet standing behind her.

"What are you doing here alone?" Rohan asks her, maybe he's concerned that she has some problem and she is waiting for them.

"Just like that. I enjoy the crisp winds here." Ruhana replies with a light smile and it's true as well.

Rohan looks at her and she smiles. She blinks her eyes and tries to convince Rohan that she didn't feel sleepy and so she came to stroll here.

"I am fine. Actually, I have the habit of walking after dinner. My friends were tired and Vineet was also busy so I came down here. You know, it's actually nice to spend some time with yourself." She smiles as she looks at the two guys.

Rohan and Vineet smile and meanwhile, Rohan's phone rings. It's his mom's call and so he tells Vineet that he will meet him in their room. Vineet agrees and Rohan moves to the other side to talk to his parents.

Vineet sits beside Ruhana. She's still humming her favorite songs. The two friends sit quietly until he breaks the silence.

"Are you still angry?" he asks, fixing his gaze at her.

"Why? Why do you ask now?" Ruhana gazes at him.

"Actually, I never saw you so angry. I thought to ask you. You were very angry at the beach." Vineet says, remembering her anger.

Oh yeah! Ruhana is angry at Vineet. The reason is obvious that he doesn't say to anyone who tries to persuade him or do things that he doesn't like. But, when she asks him the reasons of his sadness or pain, or if she tries to do something for him, he scolds her. He serves silence to her and talks with everyone, even with Rhea, whom he doesn't like.

Okay! He can scold her or argue with her. But why is she served with silence. If he can talk with Rhea calmly then why can't he listen to her. He knows that the other day, when Rhea was trying to come close to him, if Ruhana had not been there, Rhea would have crossed her limits, yet, he shushes Ruhana every single time. Only she has to stay quiet, other can do anything they want and he won't speak a word to them.

Ruhana is extremely annoyed at this.

"When you are so busy hearing from others, you have time to talk with others nicely, why would you notice me?" Ruhana makes a face.

"Ruu… you…." he begins to speak, but Ruhana cuts him.

"I? What? Why should I be silent every time? That Rhea! Wo kuch bhi kare, wo tumse itna chipakti hai, usko toh kuch nahi kehte tum!! Rohan tumse roz ek hi sawal karta hai, uspe tum gussa nahi karte. Rhea ka haath nahi jhatakte. Ulta mujhe hi samjhate ho! Then why me?"Ruhana says, as she remembers the incident at the beach.

"Why am I shushed, always? Ruhana ka haath kyun jhatka jaata hai? Us Rhea ka kyun nahi? Sawal karne par mujhe kyun danta jata hai, sirf isliye kyunki main kuch kehti nahi hun? Ya isliye ki tumhari har baat ko patthar ki lakeer maanti hoon! Bolo!" Ruhana looks at him.

"I told her not to come to you! I told you to not to talk to her, but you were talking to her as if she's very close to you. And when I try talking to you, you say," Mujhe akela chod do".  Aisi kaunsi baatein hai jo Rhea, Rohan aur baaki sabse ho sakti hai, par Ruhana se nahi ho sakti hai!" Ruhana looks at him but Vineet remains silent.

"Maanti hoon bachon si harkat karti hoon par usse tumhare Chehre pe muskan aati hai, isliye karti hoon. Apne liye nahi! Tum par papa aur mumma ka vishwas bana rahe isliye hamesha tumhe aage karti hoon, varna main apne aapko ache se sambhal sakti hoon. Tumhari zaroorat nahi hai mujhe. " Ruhana says firmly.

Vineet is still silent. Every word that she spoke was correct. He usually scolds her because she doesn't answer back. She doesn't like to push someone to answer her questions. She feels that the person should come to her and put their trust in her. Others like Rhea and Rohan will ask repeatedly until you tell them something. He turns silent. Ruhana looks at him and sighs deeply.

"Why do you keep so silent every time? Why am I served with silence, Vineet? I need an answer. Why me? Hamesha main hi kyun? " she questions.

He doesn't reply. He doesn't know how to reply. He has seen her trying her best but he hides his feelings unknown to the fact that she knows everything. She knows when he's happy or sad or tense. She just wants him to confide his feelings in her. She turns to him and cups his face.

"Why Vineet? I agree I was angry but why do you always have to wear a silent face? Why Vineet?" she questions.

She has enough complaints from her friends and others that Vineet stays silent and doesn't  talk to anyone much. She doesn't like it as she herself wants to bring her best friend back to life. But he has no answers to her questions. He has been a silent person for years and this time she wants to bring his naughtier persona back. She moves to Vineet.

"Speak Vineet. You were asking so many questions to me but now you're silent, please say something? Why can't you be the one you were?" she asks him, looking at him hopefully.

"It's quite late. You should go to your room." He says changing the topic.

Ruhana sighs. She knows that he's trying to change the topic. She's irked by now.

"Vineet! How can you leave the questions unanswered ? It's high time to find the answer!" she shouts at her best friend.

Vineet asks her to go to her room. She sighs looking at him. His cold voice is enough for her to know that he doesn't want to talk to her. She knew he was running away from the questions she has put up in front of him. But she is adamant enough to bring him back. Having a last glance at him, she says something that leaves him astonished.
