Vineet and Ruhana have a trifle where she accuses him of serving only silence to her. She is right, though. He has never talked to her about his pain. She has always tried to be the person he likes. She always tries to cheer him up in a hope that he would tell her the reason for his silence, his pain. But he never trusts her, that's what she feels.

And it's obvious too. She wants him to speak his heart and he's not willing to tell her anything. He shushes her in front of their friends and she feels bad about it. Okay! He has the right to scold her, he can tease her but, he is not supposed to shout at her in front of the people who consider them best friends. Little did they know, that Vineet doesn't have trust in Ruhana.

Vineet remembers his painful past when he lost his mother. And since then the boy has turned silent. He takes a deep sigh. He remembers how Ruhana always cheers for him, how she takes care of him and he has given her nothing but pain. She's sad, she's in pain, all because of him. After all, her limit is broken and he is the reason for that.

He makes a call to Ruhana who picks up the call after several rings. He knows she mustn't have fallen asleep and that's why he called her at the midnight. But before he could speak anything, her words leave him shocked.

"I asked you to leave me alone! I freed you, you can stay in your shell. Then why are you calling me now?" She says angrily.

"Ruhana....I just wanted to talk." He says in a low tone.

"Why now? I mean when I look at you, when I ask you if you have any problem, then you scold me. You say that it is none of my business. You think that I can't understand your pain! And now you want to talk to me? Why Vineet? Why now?" She almost shouted at Vineet.

Vineet sighs, he knows he deserves her anger. She does everything to please him, to persuade him to share his pain and feelings with her, but he didn't give her a chance. She is super angry at him.

"And please! Stop running behind me. My motto was only to make you smile and I wanted to share your pain. But you! You didn't acknowledge my efforts. Aur ab bhi ! Tum sorry keh ke bhi mujhe hurt hi karoge. Lekin ab main tumhara silence bardasht nahi kar sakti, Vineet. I just can't." She says and pauses.

"My motto to come on this trip was not to spend time with you. I can do that at home too. I wanted to change you. Main chahti thi ki in 10 dinon mein tum mein badlaav aa jaye. Jaaanti hoon mushkil hain. Lekin chahti thi ki mujhe mera dost wapas mil jaye. Wo dost jo mujhse sab kuch share karta tha, wo jo mera khayal rakhta tha, mujhe ice-cream khilata tha. Main chahti thi ki tum apni takleef , apna dard, apni khushi, sab kuch mujhse share karo. Main bhi toh karti hoon, lekin shayad tum mujhe is kaabil nahi samajhte. Main bhi kahan samajh payi, isliye toh chod dia! Haar gayi main. A loser I am! I couldn't take you out of your shell, your pain! And it makes me a loser! I give up! I give up on you. 12 salon ki meri mehnat pe achcha paani fera hai tumne. Ab sukoon se rehne do mujhe." Saying so she cuts the call.

Vineet sighs deeply. He knows she's hurt and he has to mend the gap that has come between the two of them. It shouldn't have happened. He lies on the bed and her words are echoing in his ears. His eyes are moist, he didn't imagine that Ruhana would say that. Well, the girl is deeply hurt. Her words tell him so and he knows that he's the reason for her tears.

He wipes the tears that are trickling down his eyes. He's adamant to convince Ruhana, that he'll bring her back on talking terms. It is not easy, but he has to do it.

He can't lose her.

In Ruhana's room, her friends, Priyanka and Shubhi are fast asleep, while she is wide awake. Her eyes are moist and she is hugging the pillow in her arms. Her eyes are moist and she's looking at her phone screen, where there is her picture with Vineet. He's smiling in the picture and she has always prayed to the god to keep his smile intact. But, it seems like that God has other plans.

Tired of his silence, his habits of scolding her, of shushing her in front of others and his way of talking to the people who only take advantage of him, Ruhana decides to step back. However, her steps are neither working nor have any effect on Vineet. She puts her phone upside down in anger.

"I've done a lot for you, Vineet. And you didn't even acknowledge it. I am not as weak or as childish as I show to you. I do all of that stupidity so that you talk to me, at least you smile. But, my efforts are a waste. I'm not talking to you. I don't know if you realise it or not, but there won't be any efforts from my side. Mera sapna fir se toot gaya, thanks to you. I won't forgive you. You have to realise my importance, Vineet. You have to!!" She says in a muffled and teary voice.

Ruhana lies on the bed, trying to sleep, though sleep is far away from her eyes. All she can do is calm herself and not think about him, because she doesn't want to get hurt by his behaviour anymore.

To Be Continued.
