Ruhana and Vineet have a talk with each other. She insists him to take part in the annual fest. But he didn't reply her. She understands that he has a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders, after all he is the head boy of the college. He has to manage a lot of things and with the fest coming ahead, he has to do a lot of things. Also, they have exams coming up and they have to prepare for the exams as well. She looks at Vineet and who's lost in his own thoughts.
"Okay, Vineet. You take your time, I will be glad if you agree with me. If you'll do it for me, I will believe that I am important to you. I will wait for your reply. For now, we should concentrate on our studies." Ruhana says softly.
Vineet smiles at Ruhana, they finish their breakfast in silence and later, Ruhana's dad drops them to their college. Though, Ruhana and Vineet say that they can go to the college by themselves, but Ruhana's dad insists that he loves to drop them to their college and the two respect his love.
Once they reach the college, they part their ways. Vineet moves to his class while Ruhana looks for her friends who are waiting for her. They move to their class and are discussing about their upcoming exams and the annual fest. The three girls take their seats in the class and begin to talk. Their teacher hasn't arrived yet.
"Hey, Ruu! Did you ask Vineet about the fest?" Shubhi asks while looking at Ruhana.
"Yes! I did. But he didn't agree. I mean he didn't reply instantly. I know what is bugging him. So, I gave him time." Ruhana says while looking at Shubhi and Priyanka.
"But he should agree, Ruhana. Until when is he going to stay in his shell?" Priyanka looks at Ruhana.
"I don't know, Pri! I mean I am always trying to get him out of this but things aren't falling on their places. I hope that he agrees because he has promised me." Ruhana says softly.
" I hope, he does, Ruu. You are doing so much for him. He must understand this and do the things he should be doing." Priyanka says softly.
"I hope and wish the same." Ruhana says and meanwhile, their teacher enters the class and everyone falls silent.
The class begins and three hours later, they get free from all their lectures. Priyanka, Ruhana and Shubhi move out of the building and they find Vineet and their other friends in the garden of the building. They meet each other and after talking for a while, they leave for their respective homes. Ruhana assures Priyanka and Shubhi that she will call them later in the evening.

Ruhana and Vineet reach their home and find their mother waiting for them. They greet her and move to their respective rooms to freshen up and change. On the other hand, the lady prepares coffee for them. She sets the coffee and snacks on the table and at the same time, Vineet and Ruhana join them in the living room.
They tell her about their day at college and ask her wellbeing. Ruhana tells her that she'd be going to college for this week only. Her mother acknowledges and in the meantime, Vineet says that he needs to finish his assignments by next week.
Ruhana's mother asks Vineet about the fest to which he turns silent. The lady knows that he's still in a dilemma. Ruhana cringes her nose.
"Huh, see, this boy is silent again. That's why I call him Silent Boy. He can only talk about work." She says..
"Yeah! I do not pass the time!" Vineet replies making a face.
"Hey! That's showcasing the talent. I asked you to take part in Music-that is not for myself, it's for you!" Ruhana says making a face.
"But you are the "Silent Boy". You won't listen!" Ruhana says teasingly.
" I will! But first do your exams! We have ample of time to think about the fest you know." Vineet winks at her.
Ruhana is astonished. Will he really think about her suggestion? The mere thought excites her. She looks at him and he smiles at her, acknowledging her thoughts. She smiles -maybe, he will change his mind post their exams. May be, he is trying to change. She smiles an Vineet moves to his room to finish his work. Ruhana's mum keeps her hand on her head. She gives a meaningful glance to her daughter. The girl knows that it will take time for him to open up and she now knows that Vineet is trying hard to be the man Ruhana wants him to be.
Ruhana hugs her mother tightly. The lady pats her back and head softly. She knows that she needs support in order to stand strong for the guy who is their family.
"Everything will be fine, beta. Just believe in God and in the love and care you have for Vineet. Just like those days in your childhood passed, this shall pass soon." her mother says, comforting her.
Ruhana nods and moves to her room as her phone rings. She talks to Priyanka as the ladies discuss the assignment, after which, Ruhana gets lost in the past.
*Flashback Begins*
It's the worst day of their life. She is playing with him at his home. She's sitting in his room and playing with him when they hear a harsh voice. Vineet gets scared with the voice as if it's his dad. His father enters the room glaring at the boy. Vineet stares at his father while the man scolds them as they're playing and making noises. The man is drunk and doesn't know what he's doing. He scolds Vineet for playing with Ruhana and scolds her as well.
His father is a different being who never likes him being along with Ruhana or you might say, he didn't like kids. Ruhana looks at him scaredly and the man shocked her by holding her wrist tightly. The little girl pleaded to him but he didn't listen and pushed her out of their house. Vineet tries to save her but in turn his dad slapped him.
Little Ruhana rushed to her home, crying. She blurts out everything to her mom, who is not shocked, because she knows about the problem between her friend and her husband. She calms her daughter and tries to cheer her up.
*Flashback Ends*
She comes out of her trance as she felt wetness on her face. Tears are trickling down her eyes. She's still feeling goosebumps with that harsh touch. She wipes her tears and remembers how rude Vineet became with his father. She looks around her room and pens a diary entry in her diary.
"Vinert was so scared of his father. He didn't let him speak. How could someone be so harsh with their kids? And why was he angry with Vineet? Was I the wrong one to enter his life? But Vineet still cares about me. I will heal all his wounds. "
She caresses the words and closes the diary. She just wants Vineet to be happy. Meanwhile, she hears Vineet calling her and she rushes to his room.
