Roshni's POV

I had to come to Delhi with him as he was coming here for a few days and his uncle and aunt wanted me to come with him.

They welcomed me into their home with open arms and warm hearts.

Mahi was giving me a round of their mansion. It was impeccable. Then we went to Mihir ji's room. Both the brothers were discussing something serious but smiled when we went in.

I am sure they must have been talking about his friends and Myra.

We all were talking when chachu and Chachi came in.

" Listen, children, Sujoy called up. They are starting something new in their hotel so we all are invited for the lunch tomorrow. " Chachu said. Mihir Ji and Manik Ji exchanged a look but I didn't understand it.

" There is some Pooja too. So the dress code is traditional ethnic wear. They seemed to have arranged a competition for the most well (traditionally) dressed person, couple and family. So I want all of you to wear something very nice. " Chachi said.

" Er... But I didn't know... About any such function...so I don't have any such traditional party wear. " I said hesitantly.

" Don't worry, Roshni, I will get it for you. You and Mahi are the almost same size, I will get something nice for you or take you to Mohit's showroom. You can select it on your own. "  Chachi said.

" Oh, no!! Please don't do that... I will wear one of the suits. " I said.

" What nonsense!! No way, you are from our family now. You are coming with me.  And Mahi, Mihir and Manik, I purchased new outfits for you last week, they are in your rooms. Get ready before the time, we can't be late. I don't want to miss the competition and get disqualified. My sons should look like Indian princes and my daughters should look like princesses. " Chachi said.

" Roshni, beta... You come with me. " She said.

"  Chachi, Please, let it be... "  I was getting embarrassed.

" It's ok, mom, I have 3 absolutely new dresses which I have never worn. She can select one of them for this party. We are almost the same size except for the height. So she can wear high heels so that there is not much problem."  Mahi said.

" Ok, that is fine!! Roshni, beta go with Mahi and see which one you want. " Chachi said and I nodded.

" Chachi, I need to talk to you... " Manik Ji said to her. She nodded. But just then uncle came there looking for his wife.

" Megha!! Megha!! Here you are...  Come with me, I have some urgent work. "  He said and caught her hand and dragged her away.

" Manik, I will talk to you tomorrow, I guess your chachu has something more urgent to discuss. " She said while being pulled away by uncle.

" Dad and his possessiveness over mom. He always does that when he feels mom is giving us more attention. " Mihir Ji shook his head and laughed.

" Someone seems to be very happy since Chachi is going to talk to Maurvi aunty. Hmmm ?? " Manik Ji teased Mihir Ji and he grinned. Mahi and Manik Ji teased him a lot and I was happy to see them smiling.

Mahi and I, both left to go to her room.

She took out three dresses traditional dresses. One was a very light shade of pale pink, one was
beige and the other one was icy blue.  All of them were very good but I could not select one of them as I didn't want to choose the one she wanted for herself.  So, I asked her to choose one for me she placed all the dresses against me and saw which colour suited me the most.
