Your POV

"Are you ready yet?" Shawn called from the opposite side of the bathroom door. "I want to go play in the water."

"You're such a child," I called back, smiling. "Be patient. I'll be out in a minute."

I heard Shawn sigh and I continued to put my bathing suit on in the hotel bathroom. We had just been in the car for about 2 hours to get to this water park. We had decided to go a few weeks ago when Shawn found out that he would have a free weekend. It was pretty much all Shawn had been able to talk about for the past week. He really wanted me to go on all the water slides. Personally, I was really excited to just have a somewhat relaxing weekend with him. He was always really busy with tour, which was great, but I wanted to have fun with him too.

I finally stepped out of the bathroom in a black bikini. The bottoms were basic bikini bottoms and the top had lacy ruffles. I had to make sure it stayed PG though because there would be kids here.

"Finally," Shawn said, jumping up from the bed. He was just wearing simple shorts, revealing his amazing abs. (The outfit he wore at the Australian beach) "Are you ready to go?" he asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"I guess," I responded, smiling at how excited he was.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door, towards the elevator. Once we were in the elevator, I asked Shawn "So what do you want to do first?"

"I think we should go to the wave pool first, and then go on a slide, and then get in the Lazy River, then go on another slide."

"You really have all of this planned out, don't you?"

"I've been thinking about it for like a week, babe," Shawn said with a chuckle.

Just then, the elevator opened, revealing the large, indoor water park. I was blasted by the strong smell of chlorine and a wave of heat.

"Come on," Shawn said, pulling me into the large room. When we got inside, I looked around a little bit more. Directly ahead of us there was a play structure put into the shape of a ship for the kids. Beyond that, there was a tangle of water slides. They all twisted around each other and a few looped outside and then came back inside. To the left, there was a baby pool and a wave pool in front of an in-ground hot tub. To the right, there was a lazy river and a small café. The entire thing had a certain charm to it. I liked it.

Shawn was pulling me towards the wave pool; I had no choice but to follow. Shawn walked straight into the water, but I hesitantly tested the water first. When I found out it wasn't freezing cold, and that it was actually kind of warm, I walked towards Shawn. He held my hand and we slowly walked into the deeper water. Shawn refused to go any further than 4 feet because he was afraid of deep water. The pool only went up to 5 feet though.

"Really, Shawn? You're over six foot. Over a foot of you will still be out of the water if you go into the five foot part."

"But when the waves come, it'll be deeper," he argued.

I rolled my eyes but didn't argue with him anymore. Just then, a bell rang, signaling that the waves were coming. Shawn jumped a bit and pulled me against him. I smiled at him and waves began to slowly roll out. The waves never got to be over a foot tall, but they did get larger as the time went on. I stepped away from Shawn and teasingly splashed him. He splashed back and we ended up getting into a full on splash war until the lifeguard blew her whistle at us. I glanced at Shawn and he grinned.

"Why don't we get out of here," I suggested, smiling back.

"And go on a water slide?" Shawn asked hopefully.
