Dom POV

Lately I'd been waking up before Lana and I didn't complain. Her stomach swollen to the extent of being 7 months pregnant. One of the spare bedrooms converted into a nursery.

I pulled her against my chest, her bare back warm against my skin. I couldn't blame her for being completely exhausted. Though I wasn't prepared for what today was going to bring. She groaned and pulled my arm more flush against her body, making me chuckle softly.

" Your son is practicing kick boxing." She mumbled and moved my hand down to her stomach. I could easily feel his kicks against her skin and pressed a kiss to her neck.

"He's already a champ." She rolled over and smirked pressing a kiss to my lips.

"Just like daddy Dom."

"You want breakfast beautiful?" She shook her head and sat up, holding a hand on her stomach.

"A shirt would be great." I nodded and got up, tossing her one of my hoodies. She had been sleeping in just my sweats lately, shirts only annoyed her while she tried to sleep. Truth be told I didn't mind. Yet I watched her face expressions change as she held her stomach. "Dom?"

"What's wrong?"

"Call base. I think... I think I'm having our baby." She winced in pain before taking a deep breath. I was already rushing to grab my phone along with the duffle and my keys.

"Hey get a room ready Lana's having contractions." I told Eric who hung up after I got the sentence out. I helped her down the stairs and to the car as she nearly broke my arm in a death grip.

"I just wanna let you know." She said each word between deep breaths. I was speeding down the highway already. " This fucking hurts."

"I got you babe. Just deep breaths remember." She scoffed before groaning in pain. It seemed like the car ride was forever even when we were getting waved through the gate. I knew exactly where the hospital on base was from memory. They had a wheel chair awaiting at the front door with staff already helping Lana out of the car.

I handed off the keys to one of the men before following after the staff. This was more nerve wracking then walking out to a fight. Lana nearly screamed at one point, squeezing my hand. It all felt like a blur from then till I held my son. Lana seemed as if the pain went away instantly once she held him. The nurses had cleaned him off and I could see his blue eyes that matched his mother's.

"He's so handsome." She whispered looking at him in awe. "You think we should go with that name we talked about."  She handed him to me and I nodded slowly.

"Alexander Urijah Cruz." The nurse took him and ushered me out so they could move her to another room. When they let me into the next room she was asleep body exhausted.

"How's the baby?" I turned to see Eric with the others behind him. I chuckled and closed her door.

"He's amazing. You weren't lying Joe." I motioned for them to follow me down the hall. Through the window I pointed to him in the front row. " Alexander Urijah Cruz."

"Fucking hell man." Urijah covered his mouth as emotions over took him. "Always brothers man."

"Always." I nodded before the nurse walked into the nursery room and brought him out. He was looking around, taking in his surroundings.

"He looks a hell of a lot like you both." Joe smirked looking to my son. It all felt so surreal as if it was a dream.

"Shall we go see your mommy?" I mumbled to him as we walked across the hall. Lana was laying on her side, flashing a tired smile.

"How's mother Cruz?" Urijah led the way, sitting down the array of flowers.

"I can honestly say giving birth was one of the most painfully yet blissful experience ever." She laughed weakly and sat up slightly. I sat on the edge of the bed and handed her our son. "Well look at you looking around. Hey there handsome." I pressed a kiss to her forehead before gently rubbing her hand.

" How are you feeling?"

"I'm so ready to go home." She smiled before looking back to our son. "Gosh." She gently tugged his hat on as his eyes grew heavy. "I never thought I'd be here. In a moment like this you know." I chuckled slightly and took Alex from her, putting him in his nursery box.

"Lana you get some rest chica." Kiki squeezed her sisters foot while Rosa kissed her forehead.

"I can't wait to spoil mi familia." They walked out and I glanced to my mom Suzette grinning as her grandson. She was proud it was easy to tell considering. We'd been abandoned by my father and now here I was a father. From trailer to a large home in California. Everything seemed pretty perfect in this stage.

"He's a handsome boy Dominick." I nodded and glanced to Lana. It was obvious how much it'd taken out of her to no surprise. "You two are gonna make great parents. "

"Thanks mom." She pressed a kiss to my forehead before leaving with the others. The room seemed so silent as I sat there looking to my son and then Lana. Both so tired from today's events.

I hoped I was ready for what life what about to bring. That Lana was in all technicalities still a navy seal. I was still a UFC fighter. Both of us having to be parents was something completely new.
