Nandini startled seeing prerna lying on ICU bed.......she was on round and was intended to see the condition of patient who was brought to emergency the previous day.......she turned her head and asked from the nurse who was there to accompany her

Mam she is the one who was brought yesterday nurse said and nandini was too shocked to react......

M coming in a minute she said to nurse and left the room without any single thought coming in her mind as she was unable to bear prerna infront of her eyes.......she hurried towards the bathroom and placing both hands on the bathroom's counter she panted taking deep breaths to calm her inner turmoil...those pictures and allegations on manik surfaced her mind and her eyes stung with tears......she remembered how she lost her child bcz of that bad phase and a lone tear rolled down her eye

I treated that witch she questioned herself I treated the one who brought a huge disaster to our lives she said feebly punching the counter......she only knew one thing that she helped the one who brought problems in her husband's life and she wasn't going to help prerna further....with this decision she wiped her tears and opened the door to go outside with the determination that she would give same pain to prerna which she caused to them but as she was passing thru her room sth blew her mind

I, nandini murthy solemnly pledge to dedicate my life to the service of humanity..I will maintain the utmost respect for human life...I swear to protect human life in all stages and under all circumstances, doing my utmost to protect it from death , malady , pain and anxiety.....I will be all the way, an instrument to God's mercy, extending my medical care to near and far, virtuous and sinner , friend and enemy

Her breath got stuck in her throat as she remembered her oath taking ceremony...her determination to save a human life and what was she going to do.....leaving her alone to die when a person needed her care......her legs automatically moved towards prerna's room but she like a robot did the whole procedure from asking her about pain and various symptoms associated with it....she discussed her diet plan and checked the medicines....checking her wounds and asking several questions along with giving her hope that she would be okay....but in all that process her bright smile was missing from her face......

Nandini prerna called nandini in her feeble tone as soon as the nurse left and nandini who was about to leave stopped in her place and taking a deep breath to calm her down she turned around and asked in professional tone

What? Is it paining somewhere she asked and prerna just shook her head

M sorry she said as tears fell of her eyes and nandini on the other hand fisted her palms to control herself from not doing anything......her words fell like a bomb on her as the truth was finally revealed and she dint know what she was feeling at that time....she didn't know whether to jump out of happiness or cry her heart out at the miserable state of manik in past few days when he was being deprived of everything...when none was ready to believe him.....controlling her tears she turned around to leave when she heard her speaking

Manik ko bula do plzzz...mjhe usse maafi mangni hai she cried in misery and pain

Tmhare sorry khne se wapis theek hojaye ga......uski life se miseries khatam hojaye ge....hmara bacha wapis ajaye ga....NHI NA nandini shouted in tears conveying that her sorry didnt matter to them and left the room.........
