As a result a student who was known as the fourth best in all the schools challenged John they were a swordsman and with the blades coated in the same poison fought against John they had managed to hit John with the first strike due to pure luck and as a result of this first strike they were able to get in with follow up attacks they had a grudge against John and wanted to teach him a lesson however even with all of the poison they had managed to lose. John was taken to the medical facility for healing as a result of this battle his resistance to poison drastically went up. Due to the battle that swordsman was assassinated by Jade and fed to monsters. One fateful day Lucy prepared to confess her feelings for John unfortunately they were both targets before she could confess to John an assassin sneaked up behind her and stabbed a poison blade through her back through her heart right in the center of the heart. This was simultaneously followed by a second assassin behind John. A split second before the assassin could impale John from behind John evaded and knocked them out with a counter attack. John simultaneously uses a spell knocking out the first assassin as well as a shockwave that knocks out the other four hundred thousand waiting to ambush him. John looks down on Lucy and says "Dead immediately she never stood a chance" John leaves. Naturally at the level of poison resistance John had already developed due to his battles with Flare and the swords of the swordsman even if he was stabbed by the poison it wouldn't have any affect on him but being stabbed in the heart would have been the cause of death
