(Michael's POV):
A sheer four days had passed since I received a message wherein I fought with the Brain of Cthulhu. As much as I know, Denzel should be coming around soon...
A cold breeze enters my window...
"Speak of the devil, he's here."
"Wasuuuuuup." - Denzel
I used my BDAT and spewed out whole lot of fire at his face. He ended up with a black face for temporary reasons...
"You chuuni piece of shit." - Denzel
"Shut up, you have many things to do right?"
"Fine, here's the drones. I put the details on paper so you can just read them." - Denzel
Denzel lowered his ice pillar from my window and started walking to the entrance.
"Now then, what does this do."
I took out the piece of paper in between the two drones Denzel fixed.
"These drones require a heavy amount of mana to activate. In fact, I needed Ashley to supply me with a bit more mana for this. Anyways, channel mana to these drones and toss them upwards. They will levitate downwards and will stop falling and stay on the top of your shoulders. They will face on what is in front of you and open fire. These drones are very powerful to a certain extent, so I recommend using energy as it has a high mana conversion. So be sure to use them efficiently. Sincerly, the one who will transcend before you." - Note
"I get it..."
I don't get it at all...
But the only way is to test it out...
I jumped off the window and landed gracefully... I moved to an open area where slimes are very abundant.
"As it was said... pour mana whoa!"
This thing, it's a real mana eater!
"Fine then, I'll pour energy instead."
I started pouring energy to the drones. They started to glow so I flung them up in the air.
Both drones slowly turn to a desirable direction and stopped just about a foot in distance between my shoulders, angled to the sides by 9°.
"Now then..."
I turned towards the slimes and the drone starts shooting...
The drones alternately fire to the target and penetrated it completely.
"Heeeh, this is pretty nice."
The testing was a success... Both drones fire compressed sunlight lasers to targets, ignoring physical defenses. It can ignore magical defenses but it can be stopped by absorbing the laser...
I got a message from Symor...
"Michael, get over here ASAP!" - Symor
I started running towards the castle without any more time to reply.
I arrived to the throne room as quickly as I can.
I didn't take very long and arrived to the venue.
"Michael, we have an emergency situation! Mecole and Jake barely escaped from certain death from the Sorcery faction." - Symor
"What?!?!"
"You, Denzel, and Karl will head to the east side and brace for combat. If it gets way more rowdy then I'll come out myself." - Symor
"Yes!"
"We will!" - Karl
"Let's go!" - Denzel
We started moving to the east wall.
A short time later... (POV SHIFT: NO POV)
"Jake!" - Chelsea
"I'm fine, let's leave it to them for a bit." - Jake
"Heirro, how long can you stall?" - Chelsea
"Three minutes!?!" - Heirro
"This looks very bad guys. They are way stronger than what Michael reported." - Shameah
"That means that they trained hard." - Vina
"Detonate!" - Chelsea
