"Damn it, Anthony, I leave only for two days, and this happens?" Marnie whispered as she had tears falling down her face, as she looked at her brother lying in bed.
Fangs was currently outside in the waiting room with Sweet Pea and some of the gang, since he wanted to give them time alone.
"Okay Marnie, I'll just try not to get stabbed so often," He said blankly, but a little tired, from the drugs in his system.
Marnie frowned as she hugged herself," Anthony..."
He turned to look at her and smiled," Come here you moron" He waved to her, as he scoots himself, not feeling the pain of the wound. Marnie didn't move and shook her head, worried about her brother and he sighed," Marnie Jean Gomez, get your ass over here before I scream"
"You wouldn't" She retorted and he smirked
"Oh, but I would" She challenged him staying put, and Anthony opened his mouth letting out a shout but was quickly cut off from Marnie's hand on his mouth
"You ass!" She pulled her hand back in disgust as he licked it," I swear if you weren't injured right now, I would hit you" She grumbled but fell forward landing on the empty spot on her brother's bed since he yanked her arm
"I told you I was going to scream, and you challenged me"
Marnie sighed making herself comfortable laying on the bed looking at her twin," I'm glad you are okay, you idiot"
He frowned at her poking her nose," You shouldn't be calling injured people idiots, I think that's taboo" He joked
"Oh, shut up, you know I love you" She pouted leaning her head on his shoulder," I think I nearly gave Fangs a heart attack driving here"
A chuckle rumbled from Anthony," Poor Fogarty"
"He'll live" She whispered and Anthony turned to look down at her
"You want to say something, don't you?" He asked her, nothing could go on without the other twin knowing, and right now, he knew his sister was uneasy.
"You tell me everything right?" She whispered almost scared of even having to ask that question, feeling like it would be offensive. She turned to look at her brother who was silent, but then he closed his eyes.
"I do, but there is one thing I haven't told you" He confessed and Marnie looked hurt
"What?"
"Look, it's just I'm still trying to figure it out myself, and I wanted to make sure when I tell you," He said slowly
Marnie reached a hand holding his," Does it have to do with being stabbed?"
He shook his head," No, probably not I hope"
She just sighed and leaned on him," Then don't tell me, until your ready, because I don't want you to force you to say what you don't want to"
"I love you, Marnie," Anthony kissed the top of her head," Thank you" He whispered as she smiled leaning in his shoulder
"So, I know your dying to know what happened on the trip"
Anthony let out a snort at her," Okay, I know you didn't mean to do that, but really dying?" She quickly looked up to him and snickered
