Neji is someone you'd never thought you would meet nor marry. This man here...he's different. Coming from a rich and powerful clan, you'd have never thought he'd be this down to earth and family oriented.

After your first child was born, knowing how demanding his work as clan leader is, he decided to become a stay at home dad. A Househusband.

At first, you were worried but he reassured you that everything he wanted to do is done. Changing the Hyuuga clan and removing the oppressive seals, he accomplished everything. And so, he stepped down and handed the title to the true heir, Hinata.

You were shocked at how he chose to resign as clan leader but trusted his words and left it at that. Back in your own home, while you worked, he stayed at home playing with his child being at their beck and call. It was memorising how well he interacted with them. So much so, you'd watch in the doorway as play together, Neji read to them, or sleep peacefully.
