Gai is more of a giver than receiver. He loves to give you gifts, cook for you, and overall, make you happy any way he can. Seeing you happy makes him happy.
One of his favorite things to do for you is paper you. Weather its as small as giving a massage after a long and tiring day from work to spending the whole day with you, face masks and all. He wants to see you stress free and relaxed.
Though he is a giver, it makes him feel warm inside when they give back with equal force. As a high ranking ninja, days are long and muscles are strained. He loves it when you run him down, asking him about his day in between kisses. It makes him feel loved equally as much as he loves you.
