We got to the limousine and the chauffeur opened the door for us, Nobuhle got in first and then I followed. The drive was not fast so I took that as time to talk to her

Me: my love

Nobuhle: mhm

Me: baby I'm sorry, I know I haven't been treating you right and I know that I have been absent in your life and our daughters life but I promise you that I will make up for that, I just got caught up in some things and I.. I.. Fuck baby I'm sorry I'll make it up to you

Nobuhle: you should save your sorries for someone who cares honestly

Me: ouch so you don't care

Nobuhle: I did care but you shut me out and you continuously did it so now as Lil Wayne said "I don't give two shits"

Ouch that stung honestly, I fucked up badly now what I do doesn't bother her and she once told me that when she doesn't react to something it means I have lost her and I can't have that I will fight for her. I just took out my phone and started taking videos of her, she poured champagne and drank I did the same and I let out a heavy sigh.

Me: ngyakuthanda maKhumalo (I love you)

She kept quiet and we arrived then she spoke

Nobuhle: when we there don't you dare give out bad vibes, I don't want people knowing that we're on bad terms, you will touch me like you always do and we will talk and laugh like we always do, capish?

I looked at her and she raised one eyebrow, she looked cute but she was mad so I just nodded and she wore her mask. The chauffeur opened the door and I stepped out, the paparazzi was here and they flashes and questions were all thrown at me. I ignored them and I took my wife's hand and helped her out of the limo. The people that work there came and held her dress and they put it down nicely, it had a long tail so they laid it down and we started walking. The press came towards us and they started asking questions

Person 1: Mrs Maphumulo why do you always have a mask on?

Nobuhle: so I can walk out in public peacefully without any of you in my business

Person 2: how long have you and Mr Maphumulo been married?

Nobuhle: 5 years

Person 3: are you a billionaire too or you're here because of him?

Nobuhle laughed at her first then answered

Nobuhle: you see when he found me 7 years ago I already had 17 million in my bank account and he had 32 million because I work very hard but you won't know that because my information isn't all over the internet then two years along the line we got married and by then I had 50 million and he had 55 million, fast forward 5 years later I have 75 billion and he has 87 billion. To answer your question, no I'm a billionaire because of myself and my hardwork, not every woman is successful because of a man. Thank you

I was smiling this whole time, my wife is really something else and I am proud of her.

Me: let's go baby

We left them and walked down the red carpet and we stood and took pictures, we kissed and then we went inside we were ushered to our table it was written Mr and Mrs Maphumulo, it had a vase with flowers inside and two champagne glasses with two different bottles of champagne then the program card. The tables and the whole place was black and red it was beautiful you could tell it was for rich people. We sat down and waited while the others came in.

Nobuhle's pov

While we were waiting I smelt a familiar cologne, it was musculine and intoxicating I turned and looked towards it and I saw him, he was in a black suit but instead of a shirt he had a turtle neck black long sleeve on and a black pants with ice chain with the initials C.S. You could see his muscles out and his chest oh my. As if he knew I was looking at him he turned and faced my way and he saw me and gave me a questioning look like he was trying to figure out who I am, he then smiled and carried on looking around. I took out my phone and texted Lizzy.
