Chapter 44

Nobuhle's Pov

After having dinner they all went to sleep in the guest rooms, my house is pretty big so everyone went to their own room. I was not expecting my brothers to also come, I just wanted my dad. I can't believe I am carrying the next king. Lizwi and I are laying in bed in a comfortable silence. My mind was running wild, I'm basically carrying God and his angels. Who are these people who are coming for me and my kids? Why did Ngonyama ever create Mavungama? I get the Indoni Yamanzi, but the other two? Most of all, why me? What's special about me? I fear losing my kids more than anything in this world, I'm not scared of these witches and people who want to take them. I'm just scared of losing them. I will fight for my kids  no matter what, and I am not going down without a fight. I touched my tummy and brushed it.

Lizwi: I'm scared, too

Me: What if I lose my kids, Lizwi? I won't be able to take that

Lizwi: Me too, but we have to be strong and protect them with everything in us.

Me: This water and everything that they gave me will make me lose my child Lizwi

Lizwi: I'm really sorry. I wish there was something we could do

Me: I should've listened when they warned me now my child is going to die

Lizwi: it's all in the past now. Let's focus on the future

Me: That includes me carrying God, a king, and a water child?

Lizwi: That stresses the shit out of me

Me: Couldn't they do this to them when they are older?

Lizwi: I really don't understand your ancestors

Me: They are not my ancestors

Lizwi: I get that you're angry, but we just have to accept everything.

Me: There has to be another way

Lizwi: Unfortunately, there isn't. This is just disturbing one minute we are happy that we are having children, and now we're sad because apparently we're having creatures as kids.

Me: If my children die or something bad happens to them, I am coming for Ngonyama

Lizwi: I really want to meet that man and swear him since I can't kill him.

Me: He is scary

Lizwi: More than your father?

Me: My dad is nothing compared to that man. Even his lion is huge.

Me: What?

Me: Yeah

Lizwi: I feel like we are the main characters in a movie called 'Our lives flashed before us'

Me: Next, we're going to be the main characters on 'how to raise creatures'

Lizwi: This really feels like a movie

Me: Am I even allowed to go to work, or now I have to be indoors since their presence is felt?

Lizwi: You're not going anywhere. I am not risking it. I can't lose any of you

Me: And I'm just 3 months pregnant

Lizwi: I asked your sidekick brother something, and his answer got me thinking
