Eventually, Natasha, Aloisia and Wanda had to return to the new compound. They had stayed with Clint for a few days before returning. Aloisia and Natasha had also got their room to be next to Wanda's. They had become close while at Clint's house, and they hoped Wanda would find comfort knowing they were near.
Natasha had been sent a video of Clint's new baby, Aloisia stood next to her, watching over Nat's shoulder the child. From a video of Barton's new baby on Natasha's phone Laura speaks "Say hi to Auntie Nat" Natasha sees the baby has been named Nathaniel Pietro Barton as the name is sown onto the clothes it wears
"Fat" Natasha mutters.
"Natasha Romanoff! You cannot say that" Nat only glares at Aloisia, but Al crosses her arms at the woman glaring back. Natasha puts her phone away as Fury walks up to the duo
"One of our tech boys flagged this, splashed down in the Banda Sea. Could be the Quinjet. But with Stark's stealth tech, we still can't track the damn thing" Fury explains showing Natahsa and Aloisia the screen, which displays a flashing light on the map.
"Right" Nat says, her and bruce had become friends while they had been working together and she worried about him.
"Probably jumped out and swam to Fiji. He'll send a postcard" Fury says
"Wish you were here." You sent me to recruit him, way back when. Did you know then what was going to happen?" Natasha asks Fury
"You never know. You hope for the best and make do with what you get. I got a great team"
"Nothing lasts forever" Nat mutters
"Don't we know" Aloisia adds
"Trouble, Miss Romanoff. No matter who wins or loses, trouble still comes around" Fury says as he spins the device in his hands. Natasha stands with Aloisia smiles at Nat, squeezing her hand
"Oh, I think Thor is leaving today, I'm going to say goodbye. I'll see you later" Al smiles at her girlfriend, who nods. Al gives her a kiss before running off.
"The rules have changed" Steve says, him, Tony and Thor walk along the compound, Aloisia runs behind them.
"We're dealing with something new" Tony says
"Well, the Vision's artificial intelligence" Steve adds
"A machine"
"So it doesn't count" the two converse thoughtfully
"No. It's not like a person lifting the hammer" Tony says
"Honestly" Aloisia mutters to herself, the two are so engaged in their conversation they'd not notice Aloisia walking behind them. She listens to their conversation as she follows the group
"Right. Different rules for us"
"Nice guy, but artificial"
"Thank you"
"Aren't you guys just adorable, all bonding over Thor's hammer. awww" Al says smiling, they jump in suprise, not having noticed the woman behind them. Al laughs at their reaction as Tony flips her off
"If he can wield the hammer, he can keep the Mind Stone. It's safe with the Vision and these days, safe is in short supply" Thor continues
"But if you put the hammer in an elevator..." Steve begins
"It would still go up" Tony finishes off for him
"Elevator's not worthy" Steve says with a smile. Al scoff at the group.
"I'm going to miss these little talks of ours"
"Im certainly not" Al mutter as she now walks in line with the trio
