Chapter 71

It's the next day and I obviously ended up sleeping at Jason's. I'm still here and I have to go home soon so I can go with my dad to get my phone fixed. Jason's hyper for some reason and he's driving me crazy since I'm still tired. I feel better, but it's hard to explain. I showered when I woke up, which helped my head ache.

"By the way, there's bagels down stairs" I heard Jason tell me. I looked out the bathroom door and smiled widely.

"Yay!" I said and continued to brush my hair. I grabbed the hair dryer, but Jason stopped me.

"Just leave your hair wet. Who cares. I'm bored. Let's go driving or something" he whined causing me to laugh. Like I said, he's hyper for some odd reason and he keeps saying he's bored. I put down the hair dryer and started walking out of the bathroom.

"I'm not going anywhere with you" I joked then he suddenly came up behind me and start tickling me. "Jason!" I yelled while trying to control my laughter. I got his grip off of me and ran to the door. He got up and followed me.

As soon as I got out, he grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. I started laughing like crazy still. But stopped once we saw Hunter and someone there. We both pulled away. As I looked up, I saw someone I didn't even expect to see again. I felt my heart drop.

"Derek what's up man!" Jason said as they did a hand shake. Derek looked at Jason then back at me again. Hunter noticed because he looked at us confused.

"Never thought I'd see you again" Derek said to me. Jason looked back and fourth at us.

"Y-you too" I said back quietly.

"You know each other?" Jason asked taken back.

"We met once" I told Jason. Derek laughed.

"That's it?" Derek asked. I looked down

"What the fuck is going on?" Jason spat. I looked up at him and saw the anger/hurt in his eyes. Why would he be hurt?

"I saw you left Cody" Derek said.

"He cheated on me" I told him. Derek chuckled.

"So he forgave you, but you didn't forgive him?" He asked. I gulped and crossed my arms. I have to stay strong. I didn't think this would come back. Even with Jason around. In Jason's house. I looked around. "You never told him" Derek said and I looked back up at him.

"Shut up" I said and he smirked.

"So you said nothing?" He asked.

"What is he talking about Mackenzie?" Jason asked. I didn't take my eyes off Derek.

"Stop" I told Derek.

"You didn't tell Cody we had sex?" Derek asked. My heart dropped. Why would he say something in front of Jason?

"Oh my god" I heard Hunter say.

"What?" I heard Jason ask. I looked at Jason. He looked at me with anger. He probably thinks I'd cheat on him. "You cheated on Cody first?" Jason asked me.

"I was at a party with Derek and I got drunk-" Derek cut me off.

"You had too add that" Derek laughed. I faced him. I can't take it anymore.
