The kind of day Taylor was just about to walk away from was nearly unbelievable.

At this point, the only thing Taylor ever wanted more than anything was to be wrapped in your arms and cuddling up in bed, despite of it still being early and light was shining outside. It was summer and days are longer, but by all means, she didn't care of what the time was in the moment.

One of the things that helped Taylor relax if your were absence, was wearing something of yours. It was an awful day at the studios as she was re-recording her Speak Now album and you did notice that she had been taking on unnecessary amount of stress and you couldn't help but yo worry. During her day there, a few times had she nearly let tears well and roll down her cheeks before wanting to walk out of that and taking the rest of the day. But unless either of you had been admitted to the hospital, there was no way of getting out of it. What really did a number on her was the fact everyone was talking to her all at once until she could finally make out what was being said.

What that was you may ask, it was of everyone Taylor was being told that she was not at the right pitch. Everyone was comfortable enough to give their opinion, and some were harsh, a little too harsh. It made her feel bad, it made her feel unsuccessful to support the both of you. Along with those opinions were insults and some where just flat out cruel. At the same time, she was thankful you weren't there because those people would most likely be dead by now and by your hands having to witness treating your girlfriend this way. All these emotions that Taylor was coming from intense cramp pain.

The opinions started as Taylor had begun working for Dear John, which happened to be one of her most challenging songs. Not just by recording, but by singing it live in front of her glowing audience. Taylor's day had come to an end at last and that's where one small problem had occurred. That problem being it was already dark outside, that tells her she had spent a lot more time in the studio for longer than she had originally thought. As Taylor was getting into her car, she felt worse as the cramp pain intensified. It felt as though the pain was getting worse by the second, and it was nearly impossible to live with and endure it. On the drive home, Taylor tried her absolute best to calm down in order to avoid taking things out on you.

However, she briefly believed that it had worked, that she had self control, but that was about to change just moments later. When she walked in your shared home, Taylor was unpleasantly greeted by a messy home and that's the part she had lost it.

"(Y/N)!" Taylor calls for you.

Hearing the tone of her voice sent chills, as you knew something was troubling her, so you made your way to her, hoping to find out what the problem was sooner rather than later.

"Baby, you're home!" You say gleefully.

You go to wrap your girlfriend in a hug but she pushed you backwards, but not enough to hurt you, that was the last thing she ever wanted done by her own hands.

But as she pushed you back from her, that's when concern grew.

"What's wrong, Tay?"

"Don't even call me that, (Y/n)! Look around you!"

Which you did and than you understood what she was talking about, while you still couldn't help but feel startled by her unexpected outburst.

You go to apologize, but she had stopped you by putting her hand up.

"I don't need your apologies, I need a clean house when I come home! Is that too much to ask?" Taylor snaps.

Taylor doesn't give you a chance to speak, rather, she walks away to the bedroom as tears begin to well in your eyes.

Taylor had never spoken to you in such a way, and you couldn't understand the reason why other than the fact that the house was a mess. It wasn't until after you picked the first dish to clean when it hit you, the fact that Taylor was going through her period. With Taylor being in a lot of discomfort, you followed through on house chores before delivering Taylor a cup of her favorite tea. To be honest, you were a little timid to be in her presence at all anymore, afraid she might go off on you again. But as you go inside, you see Taylor sitting up in bed, staring down at hands.

She doesn't notice of your presence until you make yourself known. You call her name while walking to give her the cup of tea, and as you turn to leave, you feel a gentle take of your wrist as Taylor pulls you on the bed with her, you don't know why.

"I'm sorry, (Y/n). I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that."

"It's okay, Taylor."

"No, it's not. Is there something I can do to make it up to you?"

You thought about it for a moment before deciding on a decision.

"Can we forget this happened?"

"Already done. How about a movie night, we can cuddle to if you want?"

"It's a deal!"

The rest of the evening was spent in bed with a bowl of popcorn and your a set of your favorite movies on your nightstand.

Though Taylor wasn't feeling well, she wanted you to pick the first movie, so you did. The movie you had chosen on was one you both favored very much, it was a movie you had not only talked about all the time, but you loved quoting it.

This is what you can call a relaxing evening with your favorite person.
