Our Dorm Room (Old Version)

###########Raine's POV###########
I'm kind of glad that Cade and I are done pulling pranks on each other. It's nice to just be friends.

"Hey Ranie," Cade acknowledged me," I'm going out with a couple of my friends. See you later?"

"See you," I say as he exits the room.

I decide to text Veronica.

Me: Hey are you busy today?

Veronica: nope, why?

Me: do you want to come over and hang out?

Veronica: sure, will your roommate mind?

Me: no, Cade is out with some friends.

Veronica: I'll be there in a half an hour

Me:  see you then ;)

Our dorm room is a complete disaster, so I pick it up a bit before Veronica comes over.  It's mainly Cade's side of the room, but I push everything into his closet. About a minute later, Veronica arrives.

"Hey!" I hug her.

"Hi!" She hugs me back.

"What do you want to do?" I ask her.

"Can we get to know each other better?" She asks me curiously.

"I think that would be fun!" I say.

For the next two hours we, talked and talked, and talked! It felt like we had been best friends forever! Veronica is so easy to talk too, and we have some common interests. She likes to read, obsess about twilight and shop. I like all of those things as well.

"Can I tell you a secret?" I ask her.

"Sure," She says.

"I have a crush on my roommate, Cade," I whisper, as if someone else was in there.

"Really?!" Veronica squeals.

"I think so, he is nice, but a little bit of a pervert," I comment.

"Do you want to hear a secret too?" Veronica lowers her voice.

"Yes," I say.

"I hate my roommate, she is a total bitch. She has all of her crap scattered around the room, and always has guys over," Veronica rants.

"I feel so bad for you! I mean I thought living with Cade was bad, but you seem worse," I say.

"Thanks," She says.

"Feel free to stop by anytime if you need anything or need a place to crash," I welcome her.

"Thanks. Can I stay here tonight?" She asks me.

Sure. That would be so fun!" I squeal.

"I'm going to go get a few things," Veronica leaves my dorm.

Then Cade enters. "Hey."

"Hi." I reply, "Just so you know, Veronica is staying here tonight."

"Why?" Cade grumbles.

"She needed a place to stay because her roommate is- uh how do you describe her?" I say.

"Ok," Cade says, "She can sleep on your bed. You can share with me."

"Ewww why?" I say in a disgusted tone.

"She is our guest, we have to be polite," Cade says.

"Fine. But nothing is going to happen," I point a finger at him.

Then Veronica barges in. "Raine can I just borrow some of your stuff? Candice is at it again."

"I understand, take what you need," I say.

"Thank you so much!" Veronica hugs me.

"No problem," I hug her back.

"Ooh were having a sleepover! Let's giggle, do our hair, paint our nails and talk about boys!" Cade does a 'girl impression'.

"That is not what we are like Cade," I say. Boys are morons.

"Whatever," Cade walks into the bathroom, shutting the door with a bang.

"Is it just me or are you tired too?" Veronica yawns.

"A little." I say, "Do you want to sleep?"

"I would appreciate that," She yawns again.

"Okay. Here are pajamas," I hand her a pair of blacks shorts with a light blue tank top.

She slides them on, and I slip mine on as well.

"You can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep with Cade," I tell her.

She wiggles her eyebrows at me.
"Really? I'm trying to get away from the moaning," Veronica complains.

"Dont worry. Nothing will happen. He suggested it," I tell her honestly.

"Good night Raine," She says as she climbs into my bed.

"Goodnight," I say back to her, but she is already sleeping.

I lay down in Cade's bed, and then I remember something:

I forgot to take my medicine.

Hey guys! Sorry this took so long! I have been caught up in WASD. What do you think she needs the meds for? I know of course, but no spoilers. Unless that big mouth of mine is annoying again. Vote- comment-share
