“Doesn't it look a little too much?” Soumya asked as she checked her appearance in the mirror.

“Don’t worry, Maam. The makeup will look natural on the stage and photos,” the makeup artist assured as she finished curling the last strand of Soumya's hair.

“Okay,” Soumya mumbled. The woman was a professional and she knew more about makeup, so she sat back. Fidgeting with her fingers, she waited for the woman to create the fishtail braid hairstyle she had settled on. Dhara's giggles caught her attention. She observed her sister's reflection through the mirror. “What's so funny?”
