Luca's POV

What happened downstairs never left my mind.

She just cluelessly guessed that I was the 'King'.

I understood, it made sense, I do demand respect from everyone and they give it to me.

I was silently thinking if I should tell her.

As I stood by my large window thinking, my phone rang.

I took my phone and returned to my previous place.

I looked at the caller id and shook my head.

I answered "Finalmente, eu pensei qui o meu irmão skeceu da mia existência!" she typically scolded me. (Portuguese translation: Finally, I thought my brother forgot about my existence)

I just sighed, "Don't" she sighed imitating me "meh" she finished.

"O que você quer Lin?" I asked. (Translation: What do you want Lin?).

"Eu estava a falar com minha amiga nova, e você le falou para le chamar Zach?" I knew Linda wanted an answer.(thanslation: i was talking to my new friend, and you told her to call you Zach?l

"Sim, mas desde quando vocês são amigas?" I asked. (Translation: Yes, but since when were you friends)

She sighed "It's none of your business, but Luc only 3 people have been allowed to call you that throughout your whole life, why her?" She was much more serious now.

"Because I want her to, and it's none of your business either" I snapped.

"Look" she sighed, "I'm not jumping to conclusions but if you like her you should know how dangerous it is to do that. And also don't keep your secret from her, it's unfair that she remains clueless" she finished.

"But what if she gets-"she cut me "Scared?" she completed.

"She won't, I know it. But not telling her will make it worse when she figures out on her own" she ended.

I didn't know what to say, I took a register of her words.

"Anyway, I've sent the email about the shipping cargo going to Ireland, but please think about it. Good night" she hung up.

For a long minute, I thought about everything she said, and she was right, as always.

I heard fast knocks on my door, "Luca" it sounded like Leah but she sounded worried.

"Come I-" Before I finished she burst in, she was panting as though she was running around.

Her eyes clouded with worry "Bella" she breathed, "What happened Leah?" I asked.

I was starting to panic from her panicked state.

"She's missing" she finally croaked, her breaths still heavy.

My heart sank "What do you mean missing? How?" I stood up.

"After you left downstairs I felt like something was off so I went to check on the kids, Gabriel is there, Andrea is there, but Bella is nowhere to be seen. I searched the whole house thinking maybe she just wandered to the kitchen but no" she said super fast because she was panicking.

My hand tightened into a fist, I knew I had numerous enemies who didn't agree with my decisions.

"What should we do?" she sounded as though she was begging for an answer.

Her eyes were full of concern and fear. It broke me to see her scared, Leah was always strong and she always made sure you knew it but now.

I saw how much she cared for the kids as though they were her own, if it were another nanny they'd probably not even be here at this time.
