Third-person POV

"How's your wound by the way," she asked, her eyes curious for the answer.

"I don't know" Luca shrugged.

"What do you mean you 'don't  know'—" she cut herself off.

"You know what never mind, I'll check tomorrow morning" she sighed.

Luca nodded obediently.

"Oh well, I'm going to bed" I yawned.

"Leah" he called before I turned.

I looked back at him, "Yes."

"I wanted Gabriel to go with me in the morning if possible" he asked scratching the back of his neck.

Leah thought, "I guess it's okay" She shrugged.

"He is the oldest and probably your successor, so okay" she added.

She knew Gabriel was young,  but Luca was probably trained earlier than Gabriel is.

Just by knowing Gabriel, Leah knew he'd be a good leader someday.

"Early in the morning?" she asked, checking her phone for the time.

"Around 3 am" he looked at her.

To be honest, there were a bunch of things Luca has held himself from doing to Leah, and every day the list kept getting longer.

"Uh, okay no problem" She put an alarm for her to wake up at 2 am.

"Good night Zack" she yawned again.

Luca watched her go up the stairs tiredly, he couldn't hold to let a smile creep at the corner of his face.

He literally hated the effect she had on him.

The control.

And the seamlessly never realises how much power she has over him.

He had been taught to bow down to no one.

But he'd fall on his fucking knees for her.

5 months, 3 days, 5 hours, 56 minutes, 12 seconds... Leah has been in his life.

He counted.

He was happy she was here for so long already but that means she'll be leaving sooner.

He knew it was best to let her go when her contract was over.

But EVERY FUCKIN' DAY, he fell for her more and more.

It's starting to feel impossible to see her leave.

Why did he feel like this?

He knew he had to stop. He sighed.

The emptiness of the giant mansion reasoning how he feels without Leah...Empty.

-----------------

The next morning was a new day.

Luca woke up determined to stop his feeling for Leah Today.

It had to stop.

Down the giant glistening hallway of the Romani mansion, in Leah's room, her alarm rang.

"Shit, why does my alarm sound like fuck" Leah groaned.

Leah only cursed in extreme situations.

Leah is a really nice and kind person, so if she curses at you,  you better think of what you did to offend her.

In this situation, Leah was tired as hell. And to make the situation worse...her automatic Alarm sounds like shit.

So at this point, she was pissed off.
