Third-person POV

Luca needed to go downstairs to the control room to get some documents.

He calmly went down the stairs. He could hear laughter from the second loft of stairs.

When he reached the bottom he immediately tensed when he saw Leah talking to the 'Supposed Alex'.

He looked at his watch, still ten whole minutes until the kids start tutoring.

He doesn't know why but he wanted her all to himself.

He wanted her to only laugh with him.

Be that happy with him

Give her a big warm smile when with him.

To have her eyes sparkle for him and him only.

And one thing you should know about Luca is that he doesn't like sharing.

Luca quickly shook away his thoughts and carried on walking.

But then what he saw didn't leave his mind.

'Leah, what the heck did you do to me?' he thought.

Luca always focused on work, his priorities were Keeping the Mafia running, Making sure Romano Inc. stays at the top and nothing else.

But here he is spending time thinking about Leah, he tried to remove her from his head but it's as though she tattooed herself into his brain.

She was simple.

He was complicated.

She grew up in a normal supportive family.

He grew up in a filthy rich, broken family that only pressures you to do better no matter what accomplishments you get.

She was warm and kind to everyone.

He was taught to be cold and bitter to everyone.

She was carefree.

He's full of duties.

She fixes his hurt.

He's afraid if he break hers.

She wants a normal sweet life.

And He can't give that.

They're opposites who are not really attracting.

Life took different turns for both.

Both had their broken parts.

But maybe they can help each other heal.

Leah keeps a smile over all the hurt of her past that she keeps secret from everyone.

Luca tries to stay feared by people so people would not be able to see his real hurt.

Luca always got what he wanted, and at this point, he was getting stressed because he wants Leah.

But does Leah want him?

Leah is running as far as she can from her actual feelings, Alex was a good distraction.

He had a relatable background and family, unlike Luca who she knows almost nothing about.

Luca entered the control room, "Hey bro" Andrew greeted.

Luca just looked at him, "I'll take that as a friendly 'hello' back" Andrew said.

The control room was completely covered from suspicion of anyone who didn't know about it.

But the inside was big and it was very important too.
