Andrew's POV

It was already noon and nothing. There's been no activity on any of Sydney's devices either.

What Paul told me was useful, but not useful enough to find her.

Apparently, Les Helco is hosting something at 4 p.m.

My men are trying to get myself and some of my team on the invite list.

No one knows what it is, only the attendees know.

I heard a knock on the door, "Come in" I sighed.

Juan walked in. "Did you get it?" I asked.

"Yes sir we were able to get yourself and 5 men in" he nodded.

"Okay," I dismissed him. This event isn't even guaranteed to involve Sydney so I'm just going with hope that it is.

I stood up knowing I'd still need to get ready for the event, I have to seem as nonchalant as possible in this event.

And hopefully thus at least goes somewhere.

I walked into the elevator and pressed to the basement parking.

My phone rang, and I just answered. Lately, I've been too exhausted to even care a fuck about who's calling.

"Hello?" I sighed. "How are you doing?" I could very much recognize Luca's voice.

"Um, I really don't know what to say. But it's not where I'd want it to be" I explained.

"Have you slept?" he asked, "No, why?" I asked.

"I can't hear it, it's very hard for you to pretend as though you've slept" Luca clarified.

"Haha very funny Mr professional Actor, would you like an Oscar while I'm here?" I asked sarcastically.

"No thank you, but seriously do you need anything from Italy," he asked.

"No, I'm good here. I have some men I brought plus the ones that are already here" I replied walking out of the elevator.

"Okay then, I was just checking. Notify me about any updates" he said before hanging up.

I entered my car and sighed.

I hope today goes well.

Leah's POV

The atmosphere became noticeably tense as we continued our shopping.

My mother's reluctance lingered, casting a shadow over anything I tried to do.

"Mom don't you like this dress" I held it up for her, but she just looked away.
