Turning around I couldn't help but feel myself tense up as I saw...Hari Kurono, aka Chronostasis.

He wasn't wearing his hood or mask, but instead wore normal civilian clothing. It was strange. I don't think he ever wore civilian clothing in the anime.

Looking around I tried to spot Overhaul, but I couldn't see him.

"He isn't here," Chronostasis said.

I unconsciously let out a relieved sigh. I looked up to see Chronostasis narrow his eyes at me with what appeared to be a scowl.

"What is your quirk?" he asked.

"I'm sorry?" I asked.

"Your quirk. You have Overhaul's attention for some reason...what did you do to him?" Chronostasis asked.

"I did nothing. He handed me bandages in a store and after that I just kept seeing him," I replied.

"You expect me to believe that?" Chronostasis asked, scoffing in disbelief.

"I swear, that's all I've done. I don't have a quirk...wait, he didn't tell you my quirk?" I asked, suddenly confused by his statement.

Chronostasis was the only individual Overhaul was very close to. Sure they weren't ordinary best friends, but Chronostasis is Overhaul's confidant.

"No, why would he?" Chronostasis asked.

"I don't know. I just...you two just...seemed close," I shrugged.

"Then why were you so skittish?" Chronostasis asked.

"How would you feel coincidentally meeting the same guy almost once per year and suddenly, a couple months after your last meeting, that guy turns up with a friend?" I asked.

Chronostasis seemed to pause for a moment in thought before his face relaxed a bit.

"I suppose I'd be cautious," Chronostasis said.

"Of course you would be. I don't even know why I keep seeing him! It's actually starting to get annoying," I huffed.

"Do you even know his name?" Chronostasis asked.

Thinking back I tried to find any time he had introduced himself to me, either as Overhaul or Chisaki.

That's when I remembered my visit to get tea a couple months ago.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I should say. You're still a stranger after all," I replied.

"Ah, yes...I suppose I am. Let me introduce myself then. I am Kai Chisaki," he said.

"Yeah. I think he said his name was Kai Shisaki?" I said unconfidently, purposely mispronouncing part of the name.

"Chisaki," Chronostasis corrected.

"Yes! That's it!" I said.

Chronostasis looked a bit surprised before stepping closer. I took a step back and he moved closer. This continued until my back hit the railing on the mountain.

"Hmm, I don't understand. What does he see?" Chronostasis muttered.

I uncomfortably looked away as I held the railing behind me with my left hand. Chronostasis backed up after a second and I relaxed a bit.

"Strange," he huffed.

Yeah, no kidding! Do villains not know what personal space is?

"What happened to your arm?" Chronostasis asked.
