Meliodas couldn't take it anymore of seeing them fight so he yelled out"The two of you have to stop it! Now that's enough!" Seems meliodas yelling have y/n and diane to stopped fighting and the hazy ness left their eyes.

"Prince what are you doing here?" Diane asked looking at meliodas curiously.

"We should be asking you that!" Hawk yelled at Diane.

"Captain you're here? Where are those Holy Knights?"diane question looking around for the knight

"Yeah you're right!"y/n agreed and wondered where the knight is tho

"Poor big lady, are you alright?"The little boy asked as he ran towards Diane.

"Yeah, you okay? You're still here."diane said with smile on her face as she bend down

"Yeah." The boy answered back but then another bell chime was heard having diane eyes to become dull and lifeless "everyone's gone again"she stood up and y/n is e/c eyes goes dull as well "that holy knight is back!"she gritted her teeth together clenching her sword

"Lady y/n no! Come on you're in danger here!"meliodas guided the away from the duo who are beginning to battling each other.

"I'm so scared! I don't wanna die!"The boy ran towards his father and hugged him but the father didn't seem to respond and seemed nervous of the boy hugging him.

"I'll protect you! I promise! Even if it means trading my life for yours!" Meliodaspromised them both. "You'd do that?"the father said in surprised of meliodas promising that to them

"Yes!" Meliodas answered back determined to keep them safe.

"Touching to see a prince who actually cares. But is that truly what you would do or was it a empty promise?" A female knight came behind meliodas asked. She moved her whip around and a bunch of bugs came towards them.

"I don't believe it another Holy Knight!"

"Storm Rondo! Now, my little beetles their flesh is yours to pierce with your sharp wings and horns!"the knight ordered her bugs

"No I'm scared, don't let it get me!" The little boy ran away towards a random direction.

"That kid's whining is really annoying me! You die first!" The female Holy Knight brought down her whip in the boy's direction and the storm of bugs followed.

The boy was trapped in a storm of piercing bugs and he started to scream in pain.

"Let me see, "Even if I have to trade my life for yours" was that the phrase? For all your brave attitude, you never believed you'd actually have to go through with it, did you?"

"Oh that's sick." Hawk had a tick mark growing in anger. Meliodas began walking forwards to where the bug storm was.

"No, meliodas!" Hawk yelled at him. But meliodas ignore him and continued to walk towards the storm with no hesitation.

"What, really?"the knight said shocked as meliodas made his way into the storm and walked through it having to get many cuts from the mouths and horns of the bugs, meliodas could feel the intense pain in him from the cuts he is receiving but he kept on a brave face and continued going towards the boy.

"I promised. I gave my word to you. Even if you don't survive, I would do it even if I were left all alone. I would still protect the kingdom and all it's people from the Holy Knights." Meliodas eventually reached the boy and took him into a hug in his arms as meliodas had multiple cuts on his arms, face and legs.
