So far, we're undefeated. We're taking the Junior Goodwill Games by storm. Bombay got a new place whilst we're stuck at the dorms. No coach, what could go wrong?

"There's this annoying kid who shows up every game. He never shuts up." Jesse tells me and Julie as we hang out in the kitchen.

"Are you on about the kid who yelled something at Goldberg about the puck being a cheeseburger?" Julie asks, gaining a nod from Jesse.

"Yeah, that kid is so obnoxious." I recall the past few games.

Even in the kitchen, we can hear Dean and Fulton's music. At first, it was annoying but we let it slide because it's good background noise. Plus there's a chance there'd be a scene if we confronted them. Our conversation suddenly gets interrupted by something that is somehow louder than the music. Screaming.

"What the hell is that?"

The screaming continues as Luis, Ken and Goldberg run into the room. As they run to hide behind Jesse and Julie, an angry Dwayne chases after them with shaving foam covering his hands and face. As they instinctively protect the trio, I jump to stop Dwayne from attacking them.

"Everyone calm down!" Julie yells to be heard.

"What the hell happened?" I ask as they shut up.

Dwayne explains what happened as the trio add their take. As soon as the details of the prank are told, Jesse turns to them and says:

"Classic." He high-fives Goldberg.

"Jesse!" I scold as Julie elbows him. "Goldberg, I'm glad you're bonding with the new guys and all, but seriously?"

"Ken, I didn't expect this kind of thing from you. I'm impressed." Julie seems a little confused.

"And Luis, I knew you weren't so innocent. Now, get outta here or the next thing you'll be crashing into is my fist." I cross my arms.

They all look at each other confused and annoyed. Since when did I become their mother - I've gone soft. As they try to protest, Jesse and Julie drag them back to their room.

"Come on, cowboy." I say, putting a hand on Dwayne's back, leading him to a stool. "Let's get ya cleaned up. Don't touch anything." I warn as I leave him alone to find paper towels and a cloth.

With equipment in hand, I make my way back to the kitchen. As I turn the corner, I see Dean and Fulton talking to Dwayne - I guess they ended their 2 man party.

"They got you good, Tex." Dean laughs as they sit on the couch. I look at him and shake my head as I sit in front of Dwayne.

"Hands." I say, prompting him to lift his hands so I can begin cleaning him up.

"Thank you, Y/N." He says appreciatively as I start on his face.

"It's alright." I respond, barely above a whisper.

"What's wrong?" He asks with concern, noticing my low tone.

"I just don't remember turning into the mother of the group." I sigh.

"Well, what's so wrong with that?" He questions as his face becomes visible. "Who doesn't love their momma?" He smiles as I remove the last bit of shaving foam.

I smile and unintentionally blush a little as I throw the stuff away.

"You're perfect just the way you are. Besides, I'm sure you've stopped them doing plenty of dumb things." Dwayne reassures me before kissing my cheek.

"Well, thank you, Dwayne. But I'm still a teenager too, you know?" I try to explain my feelings. "Should be doing dumb shit, having fun, not having a care in the world. Just last year, I was exactly like those idiots." I say as I quickly point to the Bash Brothers.
