One day, at lunch, Goldberg told us about how he scored a couple tickets to the next Flyers game. Thing is, he didn't know who to go with. He proposed a plan to determine who gets the honour of accompanying him to the game. The Great Goldberg Bake Off. Whoever bakes the best wins the tickets.

The first round didn't go as smoothly as it should have. Averman almost burnt the place down and Dean kept messing up and got frustrated that he broke a couple knives - nearly destroyed the oven door too. That's just the start. Needless to say, they were first out.

With the final round underway, Goldberg almost has his winner. The final candidates are myself, Guy and Ken. They've done really well. Connie and Guy bake together all the time, so I'm not surprised to see one of them in the final. Apparently, Kenny used to bake with his grandma all the time - it's really sweet how he talks about her. He even used her cookie recipe last round - they were delicious.

Since getting eliminated early on, Averman joined Goldie in interviewing those who are still in the competition. Fulton eventually joined them - he did pretty well though. As I close the oven door, the trio approach me.

"So, Y/N, why do you want to win this competition?" Averman asks like a host.

"Well, even though I hang out with you guys constantly, I feel like I don't spend a lot of time with Goldberg. I'm usually with the Bash Brothers - so it'd be fun to have a day out with just Goldie." I explain.

"I'm touched." Goldberg puts a hand on his chest. "Are you worried about the competition?"

"They're both great, so it is gonna be close. Overall, I think I have a good chance."

"Good luck, sweetheart." Fulton smiles.

"Thanks, babe." I respond as they walk away.

About 40 minutes pass and our time is running out. Though we're against each other, myself, Guy and Ken have been helping each other a little since it's kind of stressful. I add the final touches as the eliminated Ducks count down from 10.

I patiently wait as the boys go before me. To nobody's surprise, they do amazing once again. No matter what happens, it's been really fun and I'm proud of all of us.

"What you got, Y/N?" Goldberg asks as it becomes my turn.

"Well, Goldie, I made a chocolate and salted caramel fudge cake with ice cream. There should be a swirl of caramel running through the whole thing."

"It sounds and smells delicious." Charlie says from behind him.

I give him a smile as a few of them dig in. The spiral actually worked. As they start eating, I'm eager to see what they think - hopefully it's not too sweet. They all groan and lick their lips. I guess they like it.

"Oh my god."

"That's amazing!" Julie seems to fall in love.

"Marry me." I'm not sure if Fulton's talking to me or the cake.

"What do you think, Goldie?" I ask since it's his final decision.

"I can't flaw it. It's perfect. Sorry, guys, Y/N wins!"

"Really, thank you, Goldberg." I hug him as the team cheer and congratulate me.

"Pack some snacks - I'll pick you up around lunch."

As everyone calms down, Fulton asks:

"Can you make this for my birthday?" He asks with puppy eyes.

I laugh and say, "Only if we can do this every year." I turn to Goldberg.

Goldberg agrees as everyone says how much fun they had. I can't wait to go to the game with Goldberg and I already love our new tradition.
