Chapter 2- The plan

Pano ko ba haharapin si Sir. Tolentino kung hanggang ngayon 'di ko parin mahanap yung sagot.

I knock on his office with a nervous smile in my face.

"Sir?" Knocked.

"Come in!" He yelled.

I open the door and step inside, "Sir, until now wala parin po akong nakikitang information, even in any website."

"Mind your grade in this quarter, Ms. Castro. Remember that this book report will the one to hold your grade, so if you don't pass your book report sooner, you won't receive any grade from me."

He chuckles and shook his head. He stands up holding El Filibusterismo's book. He made his way towards the door, as he opens the door, he once looks back at me and said, "Assures that you will find it. The deadline is next week," I sigh.

"You would never find it if you're not sincere." Finally made his way outside leaving me with a tired expression in my face.

How can I find it? The book is on Sir. Tolentino. I know it's bad to steal someone's things, but God may forgive me this time to steal El Filibusterismo's book, I'm desperate to my grade.

"So what's the plan?" I asked myself while eating in cafeteria.

A bright idea comes up in my mind. The key in his desk! If I had the key as soon as possible, miracle I'll find the book inside the locked drawer.

I smirk as if I just knew something.

"Ano bang tina-tawa-tawa mo d'yan?" Tanong ng kaibigan ko.

"Basta, not your concern anymore." I continue eating.

"Nako Ikaw ha! Baka kung ano-ano na mga binabalak mo."

"Don't you trust me?"

Smirk once again.

*At the classroom*

"Ms. Castro, ano ba'ng tinitignan mo sa bintana!" Sigaw ni Sir. Tolentino.

I sigh and paid attention to our lesson, but my brain can't stops thinking how can I find an information about it before the deadline.

Should I make a deal with our valedictorian? That's literally a bad idea. About my planned, I'm still hesitating if I'm going to do it. It's a big regretion and definitely big ashamed.

I bite my ballpen in nervousness.

"Ms. Castro, anong ginawa nila sa tatlong martir?" My eyes widened in sudden question.

I stand up and tried to think.

"You're not even listening in our lesson!"

I embarrassedly sit back. "Another hands!"

I bow my head to my desk and kick the floor in embarrassment.
