I walked out if the Council's dungeon and instantly my legs grew weak. I don't know exactly what I did back there, by had drained all my available energy. As my legs buckled under me, I expected to face plant into onto the ground. Someone had broken my fall.

"Alex, you okay?" It was Price. I tried to nod but my head felt heavy.

"S-sure..." I managed to give him a half hearted smile. Jordan, Andrew and the twins walked out of the dungeon as Price helped me balance myself out.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jordan asked, his eyes flicked between me and Price.

"Yeah, just kinda light headed." I tried to make myself sound not so weak and exhausted, but it didn't work. Jordan was by my side, basically pushing Price out of the way. Just as Price was about to protest, Gabriel stepped out from the oak doors.

"Jordan," Gabriel looked at me then back at his son. "Be careful. I do care about you." Gabriel gave Jordan a sad look.

"If you cared, you would of stayed with mom when she needed you out of everyone." Jordan growled. I felt my heart sink.

"Jordan, I couldn't. The Council needed me-." Gabriel began.

"Mom needed you! And you decided your precious fucking Council was more important then your own family!" Jordan glared at his dad. I looked at Jordan sadly, seeing fire burning in his eyes. That's when I realized it was a reflection. Jordan's hands were engulfed in flames. I didn't know Jordan could control fire...

"Jordan, calm down." Evan slowly approached him and rested a hand on his shoulder. That didn't seem to calm his flames, so Price approached him.
"Hey, knock it down a few notches okay?" Price looked back at Gabriel. "We'll be leaving now." I decided to test something. It wasn't a big deal if you ask me, but it might be to Jordan. Slowly I reached for Jordan's blazing hand. When I noticed the flames didn't hurt me, I grabbed Jordan's hand. His eyes looked down at me, I could see sadness filling them.

"Let's just go." I tugged him away from his dad who seemed to be emotionless by his son's actions. Andrew ran to the Jeep and got into the driver's seat. Price frowned as he looked at mine and Jordan's hands. Jordan's flames disappeared and I mentally sighed in relief. We walked back yo the Jeep in silence.

"Hey Alex? How come you holding Jordan's hand still?" Evan asked, trying to grab my free hand. I blushed and glanced up at Jordan. He stopped dead in his tracks as everyone else piled into the Jeep.

"What? Are you okay?" I looked at him concerned. Jordan bit his lip ring and looked down at me.

"Dammit..." He mumbled, then leaned down and planted a kiss on my lips. My blush deepened to a blood red color. When he pulled away I could his dad from the corner of my eyes. He looked shocked.

"H-hey Jordan?" I asked, an idea coming to mind.

"Y-yeah?"

"Do I have your permission to do something to your dad?" I smirked. Jordan laughed quietly and nodded.

"Go right ahead." I turned towards Gabriel and flipped him off. His jaw dropped in disbelief.

"Fuck you! I actually enjoy looking like a guy!" I exclaimed. Jordan laughed, pulling me towards the Jeep. As we sat in the back seat of the Jeep, I thought I saw Gabriel smile. The Jeep lurched forward and in response I yelped.

"Haha, sorry. Maybe I should lay off the gas." Andrew laughed. I glared at him through the mirror.

"Asshole." I mumbled under my breath. Maxwell and Evan heard me and laughed. That made Price smile as he looked out the window. It was a quiet ride so I accidentally fallen asleep. My limp body leaned against Jordan as my eyes began to flutter close. I felt Jordan's arms wrap around my waist and then my seatbelt clicked. Honestly, I should really learn how to put on my seatbelt. Instead of moving his arms, he left them around me. As I fell asleep, I heard Jordna humming a familiar song.
