Chapter 5

I started to speak in Korean anyway.

ㅡI am L/n Y/n. I was born on February 14, 2000 {or your bithday}. I am a vocalist. I'm from {your country}. I don't speak Korean yet but I'll do my best. I hope we will become friends.

ㅡWow! Sooo cute! Valentine's Girl♡!

ㅡThe only ones who speak English here are Somi and Mina.

ㅡBut Mina doesn't like to speak English so I don't know if she will speak to you in English.

A super cute girl raised her hand and nodded.

ㅡI'm Mina! I lived in Texas, that's why I speak English. I don't really like it, but I'll do my best to help you.

They all showed up. They were all super nice! We talked together.

ㅡHave you met any boys? Is there one that you liked?

ㅡOn Tuesday, a boy named Christopher showed me around the agency. He was super nice! We got along well. I was hoping to see him again this week, but I haven't seen him.

ㅡOooooh! Chan! Hihi. You love him?

ㅡNooooo! I only met him a week ago!

~1.5 years later~

*beep beep beep*

I turn off my alarm clock, get up and get dressed. I went out with the girls to go to the training room. But Minyoung, Jiwon, and Somi headed to another room. They seemed to know where they were going so I didn't say anything.

We arrived in a room where there were all the other female trainees and employees. They told us that today would be an off day but that they had to talk to us first. I felt like I was the only one who didn't know what was going on.

I left to sit next to my best friends Chaeyoung, Yejin and Chaeryeong. All the others were also talking.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door and came in. It was JYP!!! We used to see him in the hallways, but here he was dressed more 'professionally'. He was very classy. He began to speak:

ㅡHello trainees. I think you know this, but I'm Park Jinyoung, director of JYP Entertainment. The last boy group we formed was Got7 on January 16, 2014 and the last girl group and Miss A on July 2010. We decided to form a new girl group. He will train with a survival show called 'Sixteen'. We chose 16 trainees to participate. The show starts in a few months, but the members will have to be moved to a special dorm.

I looked at all the girls. We were 19. So 3 of us had not been chosen. I knew I wouldn't be part of it, otherwise I would have been warned. The others didn't dare look at me.

ㅡThe 16 trainees selected are: Kim Eunsuh, Lee Chaeryeong, Anatchaya Suputhipong, Song Minyoung, Hirai Momo, Son Chaeyoung, Im Nayeon, Kim Dahyun, Chou Tzuyu, Myoui Mina, Yoo Kyungwan, Minatozaki Sana, Park Jisoo, Park Jiwon, Jeon Somi and Lee Chaeyeon. If you want to change your names for the show please talk to the show manager.

The other one who was not selected was Yejin. She looked very sad that she couldn't be part of it.

ㅡYejin, we didn't select you because you still have great difficulty in singing. You still have to practice. Y/n, you haven't fully mastered Korean yet. But you are very talented and we want to keep you for a band that promises even more. Hanseol (she arrived this year) you're not trained enough yet, you still have to wait. All those who will participate will be transferred to another dormitory. Y/n, you will be transferred to Room 1 with Yejin and Hanseol. I wanted to leave you this day off because afterwards, you won't be able to see each other again before the end of the show.

JYP left the room. Yejin was crying. We took her in our arms and gave her a hug. We spent our whole day together. I didn't want to leave them.

*beep beep beep*

I woke up the next morning. I felt like a void. I had moved my things to Yejin and Hanseol's room. We were only 3 female trainees left. The auditions were scheduled in a month, so we'll have to wait to get more people in the dorm.

We were told to join JYP in a meeting room instead of going to practice.
We arrived in the room where JYP was waiting for us.

ㅡHello girls. I had to talk to you. We're going to have to modify your groups. As nearly everyone else has gone to Sixteen's dorm, the groups are no longer complete. So I'm going to direct you to other groups until the new trainees arrive.
