Appearance/Info

Jason normally has mahogany hair and amber eyes, but in his more nightmarish form, he has white hair and green eyes. He's 6'3 and his arms appear rotted and black. He's able to make his nails become long and sharp at will. Originally he was portrayed in a coat with fur trim, but he's now portrayed in a beige vest and white undershirt.

Jason was a young boy who wasn't allowed toys due to his parents wanting him to focus entirely on his studies. He made good grades but didn't have friends as he was shy. He was deprived of affection so he grew up needing it desperately, but instead of making friends, he carved little wooden figurines and hid them in the school garden to play with so his parents wouldn't know.

The teacher ends up encouraging a little girl, Amelia, to talk to him since she was friendly and well-liked. She did and they became friends, but Jason sabotaged her so he was her only friend. Amelia's mother wasn't fooled by his innocent behavior as she suspected Jason had killed Amelia's pet bird once he noticed how attached to them she was. He was the last one with them and when he reported that they were dead, she swore she saw an invisible smile on his face as he consoled Amelia.

Eventually the two grew up and Jason began to run a toy shop which grew very successful. However, his parents kicked him out since they thought it was disgraceful. He still had Amelia, and she supported him until she found out he sabotaged her all throughout their friendship. He didn't hear from her for a month and refused to check up on her due to his pride. However, he did want to be forgiven so he began to make her a music box with a little figure of him inside. He worked so hard on it that his hands became covered in wounds. When he presented it to her, she wanted to accept it, but her mother wouldn't allow it and she obeyed.

Jason spiraled downward and ended up accidentally killing a little girl who tried to tell him a toy was defective when it wasn't so she could get a new one for free. He grabbed her during the altercation and she ended up falling, cracking her head on a piece of furniture and dying from the wound. He panicked but ultimately blamed her, cutting up the body and stuffing it into a purple snake he made.

After the body was gone, so was his humanity. He begins to shift into something that isn't human.

Soon after this, Amelia came by to check on him despite her mother's advice. Jason confessed to killing the little girl and Amelia told him to turn himself in, but when he wouldn't, she threatened to do it herself. He assaulted her, but she stabbed him in the heart with a screwdriver. However, it did nothing and he took it out, beating her to the ground. He seemed to shift completely into a demon during his fight with Amelia, but he ended up sparing her. No one else would receive that mercy.

As Amelia laid there in a hazy state of consciousness, she noted that a blue door with a golden knob appeared behind him. He began a monologue and in it, seemed to imply that his heart was now the music box. This is later confirmed to be true and we find that he keeps it stored inside his chest. He can't be destroyed unless the music box is.

The more well-known story of him begins with the next victim, Maggie. At age 9 something horrible happened and her entire family was murdered. She developed amnesia and couldn't remember anything, and she was adopted by a nice family after spending some time at an orphanage. At this orphanage, she found a stuffed bunny in her closet that she never parted with.

Back at her new home, she suffered from paranoia that her stuffed animals were watching her. Only her stuffed bunny made her feel safe and she slept with it every night.

She had a best friend named Daisy, and the morning she woke up from a horrible nightmare of being tortured, Daisy arrived. Throughout the nightmare, Maggie saw Jason's eyes appear a bright shade of green as he said "She belongs to me." to his victim.

Though it appears to the reader as if he's torturing Maggie, he actually isn't. Maggie just sees and feels him torturing someone else. Her bunny connects her to him and she can see what he does as she sleeps.

Daisy and Maggie hang out and she begins absentmindedly drawing Jason in her notebook, not knowing who he is since her memories of him are either repressed or locked by Jason himself.

That night she falls asleep and has another nightmare of someone being tortured, but she feels it as if it's happening to her again. When she awakes, a wax doll is sitting at the foot of her bed. Jason appears from a door in the wall and tells her it's Daisy. She desperately tries to claw Daisy out of the wax, knowing she's still alive as she can hear her heartbeat and troubled breathing. However, she doesn't realize Daisy's skin is mixed with the wax, and when she feels blood under her nails, she realizes she's been clawing Daisy apart.

An altercation ensues and both her adoptive parents are killed. Jason gets in her face, saying they're no longer friends since she abandoned him and betrayed his 'kindness', so he takes her off to kill her.

Traits

Jason appears as a very arrogant and insulting character, even towards those he considers 'friends'. He doesn't take well to his friends having anyone other than him in their life, and if he doesn't receive enough praise and attention, he gradually becomes more and more violent before finally killing his target. He fits the narcissistic stereotype perfectly.

Motive

He just likes the attention.

Method

He seems to prefer torture, and after he's done he turns the still-living victim into a doll. He may kill them and turn them into dolls as well.

Weapon(s)

He has a red mouse that produces an explosion strong enough to kill. He's said to have a black mouse named Licorice that spies for him, and his purple snake puppet Mr. Glutton is said to eat the wax dolls when they get old, but I can't find the creator saying this. However, the creator did delete the story so that could be why.

In addition to these tools, he uses a handsaw to cut up bodies.

Theories

I think his sense of betrayal when Amelia, his only friend, tries to get him turned in is what shifted him into a demon and enabled him to become completely inhuman. Murdering the girl was a big factor but I think the deciding factor was Amelia's 'betrayal'. The one thing he still cares for is the music box which he made for Amelia, and that explains why it's his only point of weakness.

I think he also still cares for Amelia deep down since he spared her and kept the music box he made for her. I don't think he'd acknowledge this, though.

Lastly, I think he genuinely does want a friend and thinks he's being good to those he chooses. He kills all the others in their lives because he thinks he's better than them all and is the only good person for them to be around. However, no one in their right mind would take kindly to this, which he sees as a betrayal.

I think overall the lesson here is let your damn kids play with toys.

^ Yeah 100% agree man. He obviously really wants friends, but due to his parents being dicktwitches in the story, it was very difficult for him to even KNOW how to be a good friend. It seems like he was raised with the cold shoulder, which probably left him to act more childishly when he got older since he never really got to be a kid. Doesn't excuse any poor behavior whatsoever, but it could explain it a bit. - Brinlee
