This story makes me big sad. :( I had a hard time writing this one.

Appearance/Info

Grande's a 6'2 elderly man with long white hair and brown eyes. He's 69 (teehee, nice) at the time of writing this (5/29/23) and his birthday is on September 15th, 1953. He's got an Italian accent as he was born in Italy but he's completely fluent in English. He moved to America at age five with his family. They settled in West Virginia which is where he was raised and still resides present-day.

He grew up loving to do magic which he was able to turn into a career after being scouted giving a performance at a park. He met his best friend, Ricky, doing magic tricks at this very same park. He worked at the theme park the scout ran for decades, even meeting his wife Melanie here.

Melanie later died of cancer when the couple was in their 20s which also ended up taking the life of her and Grande's unborn child. He continued to work at the theme park after this but his mental health was of course in a bad state that only worsened under the treatment of his new boss. The original theme park owner died and the park was taken over by a relative of his. This relative didn't treat Grande well. Grande ended up nearly drowning during one performance which caused his boss to fire him, not even caring that he'd nearly died. Grande responded by immediately dragging the man on stage and sawing him in half in front of a horrified audience. He was arrested but the officers made the mistake of trying to handcuff a well-practiced magician. He ended up escaping and surviving on his own, everyone had just assumed he was dead. He eventually made it back to his old building. It had been shut down since the incident and he began living out of it, killing anyone who entered after making them perform in his twisted magic shows.

Long after these events, his former best friend Ricky becomes a cop and ends up coming across Grande when investigating the disappearance of some of Grande's victims. Grande kills Ricky's partner but gives Ricky the chance to leave, which he doesn't take. The two men begin fighting but Ricky manages to calm the situation by explaining he's there looking for three kids. He says the parents are worried sick and that Grande knew how it felt to lose a child, begging him to tell Ricky where the bodies were. Grande relents, saying they were buried a mile away and again giving Ricky the chance to leave. Ricky does, making sure the bodies get found without selling out Grande. He plans to confront him on his own again, which he does.

Ricky goes in for the second time, enraging Grande and getting stabbed in the process. A fire ends up breaking out and stops Grande in his tracks. It's like the fire clears some of the fog in Grande's head as he and Ricky try to escape the building. Ricky's too badly wounded so he ends up dying, leaving Grande to escape on his own. What Ricky said to him before he died helped to lessen his delusions, but in the end, he still kills. He doesn't feel any sort of happiness from killing like he did before. Instead, he blacks out and wakes up to find the bodies of his victims without any memory of what happened.

This hasn't happened yet but he's canonly supposed to die of cancer in the future. It's subject to change so I won't go into too much detail. He's forgiven by Melanie and Ricky, hearing them comfort him and feeling them hug him as he dies. So even though he's dead, he has a happy ending!

Other creepypastas exist in his canon. Among them he considers Nathan the Nobody, Candy Pop, Puppeteer, Doll Maker, and a couple of others his friends.

Traits

He grew up with a fear of failure as well as a slight case of depression, but overall he was a very happy and energetic boy. He was hard working and active, working toward his goals constantly. He kept this personality as he grew, he was very charming and polite and loved to perform.
