Chapter 96

Author's POV : 

It had been two days since Yun Hee started her job with Taehyung. She was finding it increasingly difficult to endure his aggressive behavior, but she had no choice. She needed the money to settle her father's loan. Yun Hee had never been treated this way before, but she had to go with the flow. She began thinking of ways to make her boss kinder towards her, believing that her mistakes were the cause of his constant anger.

Looking through the glass, Yun Hee saw Taehyung engrossed in a pile of files. He looked tired. Despite her dislike for him, she couldn't help but feel a strange charm when he was immersed in his work. He appeared like a lost soul, and she wondered how someone who seemed so angelic could be so cruel.

Yun Hee thought to herself, "He hasn't even left his office for lunch or ordered anything. Should I order something for him? I am his secretary, after all. It's my job, right?"

Without giving it much thought, Yun Hee placed an order for lunch on Taehyung's behalf.

When the food arrived, she knocked on his door, waiting for his permission to enter , that's one of the rare rules she memorized clearly.

Taehyung, with his cold voice, said, "Come in," but didn't bother looking at her.

Yun Hee hesitated before saying, 

Yun Hee : "Sir..."

When he finally raised his head from the file, she extended her arm, holding the food she had ordered.

Yun Hee : "You... You haven't had lunch, so I ordered this for you," she said, attempting to be on his good side.

Taehyung, frustrated, replied harshly, 

Taehyung : "How many times do I need to tell you? Don't overstep your boundaries. I didn't ask for your help. It is not your job to take care of my food. For God's sake, grow up and learn your role here."

Unable to hold back her tears this time, Yun Hee looked at him with fear ma humilation in her eyes. Her tears flowed freely as she placed the food on the floor and sat, hugging her knees, crying her heart out.

Taehyung, frozen in his seat, didn't know how to react. Her cries echoed in his office, and he felt an unexpected pang in his heart.

Taehyung : "Hey... Why are you crying?!" he finally asked gently, unable to stay still any longer. He realized that he had no choice but to take back his words as she is not stop crying , maybe he shouldn't be this harsh with her .

Taehyung : " Hey , I'm sorry I shouted , please can you stop crying "

Yun Hee : " You are soo mean , I just felt bad for you , you always immersed in your work and forget to eat , why you keep scolding me we i try to take care of you " she is still in her position hugging her knees but looking in Tae's eyes.

Taehyung felt trapped , he never has a long conversation with anyone aside from his brothers , and this girl made it they way he just can't through her out with this look on her face .

Taehyung : "Okay, fine. I will take the food, but don't interfere in my business again, I don't need anyone to take care of me , okay ! " he said. Yun Hee raised her tear-streaked face, smiling through her tears.

Yun Hee : "Really? You're going to eat it?" she asked, beyond happy that he accepted her offer.

Taehyung : "Yes, but leave it there, and don't ever do it again. Don't knock on my door unless it's something important related to work," Taehyung added trying to be gentle this time , he is not ready for another crying set from her.

 Yun Hee stood up, wiping her tears with the back of her palm cutely, and left the office while waving to her boss.

As she left, Taehyung couldn't help but smile, 

Taehyung : "Does she has something in common with Jimin? Why does she look so cute like him? What am I thinking? She's just stupid."

It was  Jungkook's turn to be by Taehyung's side, offering support in case something happen. He opened the door without knocking and found Taehyung staring into space.

Jungkook : "What's wrong, hyung?" Jungkook asked, concerned. Taehyung shook his head.

Taehyung : "Nothing. Come, let's eat. This stupid secretary of mine ordered food. Come and eat with me" Taehyung said, preparing the food on the table.

Jungkook hesitated before speaking up.

Jungkook : "Are you okay with her? I've noticed that she keeps forgetting the rules you've set for her." Taehyung continued to prepare the food, while listening to Jungkook . 

Taehyung : "She really is... I don't know what's wrong with her, but I'm fine. She hasn't triggered my panic attacks... yet," Taehyung replied. Jungkook patted Taehyung's back as he started to dig into the food. He had forgotten to have lunch and had skipped breakfast, so he was relieved to finally eat something.

However, as soon as Taehyung took a spoonful of food and put it in his mouth, his face turned red, and he began coughing uncontrollably.

Jungkook : "Hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed, alarmed by Taehyung's reaction.

Taehyung managed to gulp down some water, trying to soothe the burning sensation caused by the spicy food.

Taehyung : "I... I the food is spicy " Taehyung managed to say between coughs. "she will be the death of me i swear "

Jungkook :  "Obs .. We didn't tell her , she is not assign to give you any food so .. " Jungkook trying to hold his laughter 

Taehyung : " What is so funny !! " Taehyung slapped JK's shoulder

Jungkook : " We all afraid she will touch you or cross her lines with you , but she managed  to torture you poor tong and stomach " 

Taehyung :  " Hey , it's really hurting , go bring me anything to eat to get this stinging feeling out , and i swear i will not spare her this time "
