Jungkook was at the internet cafe again. Things have been weird at the mansion and club lately. Well, weirder than usual. V's duality was actually making Jungkook's head hurt.

There is one V, who no longer tries to flirt with him or make him angry. He lets Jungkook be, with only making brief, polite conversations when they meet accidentally. Just 'hi' or 'how's work'. Sometimes it's just a small nod from the head, as if Jungkook isn't worth the time needed to say a simple 'hi' even. And he doesn't seem to stalk Jungkook like he used to do too.

The other V, is quite forward and aggressively puts himself against Jungkook. Even his flirting doesn't have the playfulness that it used to have. Jungkook was actually surprised with this new, rude and obnoxious behavior of V, until he saw Jay's watchful eyes following their interaction.

Every time V was being an asshole lately, Jay had been in the background, watching. That's when Jungkook realized that V was putting up a show, as much as he himself was doing. So Jungkook played along with the man.

'Disgusted was the look they were going for, with a little bit of resistance.'

Only, as it happened, Jungkook found it a little difficult to put up the required resistance. The way V talked to him, touched, and even held him, made Jungkook feel a certain way. He of course did not act upon it because he was still sane and had a little something called dignity.

But sometimes, just sometimes, Jungkook forgets about it momentarily and as a result, his resistance comes up a few seconds late. And it seemed like V had noticed those moments of hesitation too.

In those precious few seconds, both V and Jungkook seemed to be more true to themselves than they had ever been. That scared Jungkook a lot, much more than imminent danger to his life here or even failing his mission about finding what happened to his sister.

So Jungkook decided to do what he came to do, as soon as he possibly could, and get the hell out of there. And in the meantime, tried to avoid V as much as he can, but on the occasions that the latter interacted with him, Jungkook was ashamed to say that he was enjoying it way more than he should.

He was at the cafe today, sending some information about Jay's accounts that he had collected. He was using the Overwatch game platform as a cover so no one will be able to detect it, unless they dig deeper.

Suddenly there was a movement to his side and when Jungkook turned to look that way, he was met with V's smiling face.

"Oh God!" Jungkook quietly yelled as he was indeed startled, making V give a teasing smile.

"Nope. Just your friendly neighborhood V."

Jungkook ignored V and continued with his game. His heart was beating a little fast but he was confident that V was not able to notice what he was doing, given that all his attention was on Jungkook's reddening face.

"You really like this game, huh?" After quietly watching for a few minutes, V asked in a curious tone.

Jungkook didn't bother to answer or give any indication of even hearing the elder. V watched for a few more minutes before speaking up again.

"You should be careful, love."

Jungkook finally responded by turning his head towards V. "What?!"

"Just saying." V replied with a nonchalant shrug. "If I can find out about you, so can they."

Jungkook's heart was thundering inside his ribcage but his face was impassive. And when he spoke, his voice was calm and collected, not even a hit of nervousness was there.
