A/N - so a slightly long chapter ahead. The first 1400 words or so are bit boring. I didn't meant for it to be this long. But you have something fun in the later part so I hope the chapter is not a total failure.  😉😉

"So, Mr Yoohoo-" Jungkook looked up at the man on the other side of the table and gave a sheepish grin. "-Sorry, slip of the tongue. Mr Yoonho. Have you thought about what you will do?"

Taehyung muffled a chuckle at the younger's childish ways and Jungkook turned to him at that sound and gave a playful wink. But it was very clear that neither Lee Yoonho nor his two lawyers found that very amusing. Not that they could do anything about it anyway.

It was decided that Yoonho's interrogation is to be done by Taehyung and Jungkook. They needed the man to be either intimidated enough, that's Taehyung's speciality, or have the man irritated, that's where Jungkook comes in, to get a full confession. But so far, it has not been successful.

"Our client will not be answering any of the questions." One of the lawyers said in an emotionless voice and Taehyung sighed loudly.

"Look, we have enough and more evidence to get Mr Lee here for at least ten years." Taehyung said as he pointed at the documents spread across the table. "I don't think you have anything to gain by holding out at this point."

Yoonho scoffed at that. Of course he has something very important to gain. His life. One word about the boss and he can be sure that he will not survive to see the next sunrise. He knew that, and even the police knew that. That's why it was so difficult to crack this man.

Taehyung and Jungkook shared a glance. They had expected this actually. It's time to back down a bit and come up with a new strategy.

"Okay then, I think we have wasted enough time here." Taehyung said as he started to gather the documents scattered on the table.

Yoonho looked a little relieved as he and his lawyers shared a look. Jungkook noticed that and thought to give it one more shot. He waited for a few seconds before speaking up again.

"You know-" Jungkook started in a bored voice, getting the attention of everyone in the room. "-I don't think you will survive even a day in prison."

"What?" Yoonho couldn't help but respond to that.

Jungkook leaned forward and smirked at the man. "No one will call you daddy there."

"Officer Jeon!!" One of the lawyers said in a loud voice while Yoonho visibly paled a bit.

Jungkook shrugged his shoulders as he was stating the obvious. "Oh, come on! You all know what I'm saying is true."

Jungkook then looked straight at Yoonho. "They will have so much fun with a... uh... man like you."

Yoonho was shaking a bit now and Taehyung couldn't tell whether it was from anger or fear. But one thing was sure, Jungkook had just made a crack in that icy defense of Yoonho. Best thing to do now is to give some space for that crack to develop.

Taehyung picked up all the documents and went out of the interrogation room, closely followed by Jungkook. Once they were outside and the door closed, Taehyung gave a small smile to the younger one.

"You're such a devil."

Jungkook flipped his non-existent long hair and gave a wink. "I learned from the best."

A sudden shiver of uneasiness gripped Taehyung's heart but he managed to keep the smile steady on his face so that Jungkook wouldn't think anything was wrong. Jungkook went away after slightly brushing his hand on Taehyung's arm, while the elder followed him with a heavy mind.
