"I'm home!" I yell, listening for a response but all I get is silence. Not a surprise, my mom has been working double shifts to make enough money lately. I still haven't told my mom about Louis and I's friendship yet. Knowing her, she would probably start picking out a venue for the wedding.

I wander upstairs and into my room and walk through the door.

That didn't feel right, do it again.

Again.
Again.

Finally, I can walk through the door, flop on the bed, and pull out my phone. Louis never gave me his number so I guess I'll just have to wait for him to text me.

If he texts you.
Maybe he's gonna spread it around the school as a joke.

I'm about 20 minutes into my report for science. When my phone buzzes and lights up. I almost fall out of my chair I get up so fast to get it.

L: Hey harry it's Louis 

*You changed the name to "Louis"*

H: Hi Louis

L: What are you doing tonight?

H: Idk probably watch a movie Hbu?

L: I'm going out with my old school friends

H: Oh, I didn't know you had any friends 

L: YOU LITTLE SHIT

H: HAHA

L: I have you

H: What?'

L: I have you, you're my friend

L: We are friends aren't we?

H: You wanna be my friend?

L: No, I've been sitting with you for a week and asked for your number for fun 

H: Haha very funny

H: But yes, I guess we can be friends if you insist

L: Good 

L: My friends just got here! Text you later :)

H: Ok bye, have fun!

I sit there smiling at my phone like an idiot for a good 5 minutes. My first friend, I feel like I should bake myself a cake for this achievement.

My mom and I are halfway through "Avengers: Endgame." When my phone buzzes in my pocket.

Louis

L: I'm back

H: What did you guys do?

L: We go out for milkshakes every Friday

H: Oh, sounds fun

L: You should come next time

I roll my eyes but I smile. Maybe Louis does actually like me, maybe it isn't all a prank.

"What are you smiling about over there?" My mom says from across the living room.

"It's nobody mom," I say with a sigh.

"Sure doesn't look like nobody." She says with a smirk.

"Fine, it's a boy from one of my classes," I admit.

"Oooh, is he cute?"

"MOM! JUST PLAY THE MOVIE." 

"Fine, you are no fun." She says with a sigh. Pressing the play button and unpausing Captain America's frozen face.

H: My mom just asked me if you were cute

L: I'm assuming you told her yes?

After the movie, I am lying in my bed trying to fall asleep. When I hear my phone buzz on the nightstand. I groan and roll over to try and reach it. When I finally reach it and open it, it's a text from Louis.

L: Goodnight harry 

H: Goodnight Louis
